Workington 2018 .

Really don't understand the fans calling for Williamson back? I just don't think he's worthy of his starting average. But my biggest concern was when he's off the boil in races he doesn't even look on the pace? Certainly some thing the rider needs to look at.

If he started at reserve then maybe at a push but I'd want a team where he would stay at reserve for the majority of the season.

It's my opinion so don't bite my head of but my opinion is that Matt Williamson has peaked an is now where he is likely to stay ability and point scoring wise.

when matts on good form even after his mid season downer he can be a match winner

ill admit that when his form dropped last year he was very lucky not to be dropped

but theres plenty improvement in matt

you see i watch speedway dont judge riders on there end of meeting score or there current average

matts a decent rider

All hail Hallelujah !!!! Those words are music to my ears .....:party:

I would prefer Ellis Perks , slotting him at reserve if we could

we all know you have done a lot for workington speedway in the past

but you really havnt got a clue have you

jenga and his family have done more for speedway than probably every one in cumbria

with maybe the exception of keith denham

its great watching you all bight when you actually know the real jenga

How about.

1. Ricky Wells 8.85

2. Mason Campton 5.73

3. Ty Proctor 7.15

4. Dan Bewley 5.95

5. ???????? 7.97

6. Matt Williamson 4.85

7. Kyle Bickley 2.00

With 7.97 left who could we get?

C. Wright 7.47

L. Lindgren 7.21

T. Jorgensen 7.10

K. Hansen 6.74

K. Doolan 6.36

IF charles would come and management would have him im sure charles would be good for workington

but id say redcar or sheffield will be in there before us

when charles was last with workington there were a few who gave him a hard time

jorgonson whould have to be more constantly good than last year and hansan would have to be in his better form both hom and away

but that line up with a strong performance from charles, ludvig hansan or jorgonson and id say that could be a good team

first name releaseed tomorrow ive heard so who do you think it will be

a up and coming name of either bewley or bickley to get fans excited or a more reliable expected name of mason or ty to leave the incoming names for later

Probably the latter I'd say Scarra, Bickley was already touted as being signed, Bewley only just arriving on the scene yet Campton/Proctor have already expressed a desire to return to the Comets at last seasons end so, I'd be surprised if it wasn't either of those!! :)

very improoved rider last year

but is he another superstar before his time with big demands and too much baggae in his team around him

Not aware of any of that personally... so cant comment on that side of things.

On the times I seen him ride he looked alot more aggressive on the track and would be worth a look at not sure where hes based though!?

The clock is ticking and we need to start getting some signatures before we dont have much choice maybe we have behind the scenes we will see?

Wouldn't of thought where he is based would be a problem as he has rode for the comets before.

But this is the type of rider that makes sence, I see more potential/improvement in greaves than I do in Matt Williamson.

Not at all like that at Ipswich last year and Im sure the wolves fans would agree, great young lad with a good attitude and plenty of potential, incidentally both Ipswich and wolves crowdfunded online and with collection buckets for him last year to help with ever increasing machinery bills - their willingness to help to me is testament to his character and efforts on track wouldnt have done if he was different, shame he couldnt be fitted back in again this year at Foxhall, expect him to improve on his starting average again this year.

Really !! So you tell me what he does for this Promotion and Workington Speedway apart from slating off on here and getting the unofficial forum closed down

Also let me correct you on one thing ...Workington Speedway Trust continue to do a lot for our speedway , not in the past :approve:
