teaboy279
Rowe was announced for kent months ago. Also Bowen stated at end of season awards he was back for 2018

TurnTwo
What if the limit dropped to 36 like it did in 2015 and Kent already have Bowen 9.31 Rowe 5.15 Laker 3.00? Another 3 pointer at reserve Bradley Andrews 4.70 9.84 for 3

Another 3 pointer at reserve Bradley Andrews 4.70 9.84 for 3 Makes no difference to Len. He will sign who he likes in advance (just like this year) and worry about the consequences after (like Shanes missing out this season). I would be very surprised to see Andrews back especially on that average & equally as surprised to see James Laker in the side although id expect him to be number 8 this year. WalterPlinge
Which part? Well for a start, if the limit dropped to 36 as stated, and Kent had Bowen, Rowe, Laker and Andrews on the averages stated, they'd have 13.84 for the final 3 riders, not 9.84 So none of it adds up or makes sense. ProudtobeaBrummie
If the points limit drops to 36 no one will watch
Twowheels
Increase the limit to 40 and make the league more challenging, not such a gap up to the Championship. Reducing it is not answer as there are not enough youngsters to fill the lower end. Must say that I have seen some great meetings this year with all riders just getting on with it. Sings4Speedway
i would make it 42 personally would make it more competitive All depends if they ban trebling up? If they do the likes of Bewley, Smith, Zach Waj, Morley, Ayres etc may well step up out of the league. Going to be very hard for all sides to build competitively in that scenario, some will but some will be severely weakened and will make for an even more divided league

Moleman27
I can already see a decent possible Eastbourne side at a 40 or 42 point limit :-)
Islander15
The problem is that with a higher limit there needs to be a decent number of heat leaders to spread around. But they can more easily than ever get second tier places and Premiership reserve spots so many of those riders might not want NL, or if they do then move mid season and the NL team loses them like the IOW & Greaves. However a low limit wont wprk as theres not as many competitive 3.00 riders around as a few years ago when the MDL was in full flow.
