Lakeside 2018

Thank you Iron Scorpion for the explanation...With such complications to the rulebook taking place while Jon Cook

was not active in the upper leagues, it is little wonder that he got the rules wrong.  I follow Speedway stuff pretty

closely, but did not pick up all the stuff explained by Iron Scorpion...well done to him for being so on the ball.

Cook has stated, that lakeside are leaving it in the hands of the ACU. Do they have authority over the SCB ?

They did with the Rathbone/Peterborough in the 4's/J Holder situation.

The fact that the 'rule' has only just been deleted would indicate that Jon didn't get it wrong!

At least Alfie has a team place now this season, it would have been a travesty had he not got a ride somewhere, ok Max will lose out but he still has his obligations with Rye House so its not like he does not have no where to race at all and as the season progresses then who knows, both riders may get further opportunities to ride additionally elsewhere.

Max might yet find himself back at Edinburgh now that they have been unsuccessful in securing Luke Becker.

One person who is not to blame is Max Clegg, can he not claim loss of potential earnings or at least be compensated?
