As far as I am aware, Drew Kemp is probably at 15, too young to be signed up by anyone yet. He at the moment does second half's at Ipswich, and recently has also been riding for Mildenhall.. He wants to ride for Ipswich when eligible, don't forget Kevin Jolly Mildenhalls manager has in his day ridden for Ipswich, and with the lad being Suffolk born, that is his most likely future I assume.

Good to hear that they made the wrong decision on a consistent basis. As others said on other threads these decisions were made despite what the rules say in black and white

Different rules for the Play Offs. This is a cup match.

Turned into an excellent match.

Obviously a different ending might have been expected if an actual Colts 1-7 could have been on track, but that wasn't possible.

The Colt's guests all put in a shift to seemingly have it sorted in the early heats but

credit to the Tigers for coming back from a shaky start to do just enough at the end.

Much credit to Jon Armstrong who rode a captain's ride in heat 15 to clinch the tie on aggregate.

So doubling-up costs the Colts the chance to secure the double. If Scunny & Pboro had have got on with their KOC quarter-final then the Glasgow semi wouldnt have been so rushed to reschedule it day after day in October! Equally though if the rules allowed the NLKOC to go to golden heats then the Mildenhall quarter-final wouldnt have needed a replay and this meeting couldve happened earlier in the season to avoid the fixture back log. Like we all know though: the rules are a state!

Congratulations to the Fen Tigers, at 41-19 down would have been easy to go under. However they held their nerve & in Kemp they have a future star imo. All the best in the final.

Mildenhall deserved their overall victory. Mountain, Armstrong and Kemp all rode well in the second half of tonight's meeting with Armstrong showing determination to win heat 15. All of the Aces guests tried hard. Davey, Hall and Hopwood scored well and Bowen did better than expected with his win in heat 2.

Things may have been different in both legs with our own riders but that's how it goes sometimes.

The Colts have been great to watch this year and those who decry NL racing are missing out on some spectaculor racing. There's a lot of pleasure to be gained from watching riders develop their talent and watching the progress they make throughout the season.

Great speedway meeting thought for a while that we might have a chance of reaching the final but not to be well done Mildenhall for a great fight back and good luck in the final.

A big thank you to all our guests every one of them rode their hearts out for us we could not have asked for more.

Having said that I am a little sad because injuries and the crazy way the sport is run could have kept us from reaching the final(multiple riders missing for both semi final legs because of silly clashes)only because I do not think that we will see a Colts team as good as this for a very long time.It would have been nice to see what a full Colts team could have achived.

No disrespect intended to Mildenhall at all as I have said what a great fighting performance and on the night you deserved to reach the final.

Drew has signed for Mildenhall for 2018 but limited his meetings this year to avoid getting an average. As the cups and amazingly the play offs don't count towards the averages, that's why he is the hottest property about at this level atm.

Riders can sign for clubs at 15, but can't sign as an asset till 16 years of age.

He really is a nice young lad, and it's been great watching him develop over the years, even on a 250cc you could see he was gonna be a bit good.
