Vince
I thought it started off pretty poorly but as the track deteriorated the racing improved and ended up with some very tough races which only this standard of rider can really do. Cook didn't have a good night but wasn't far off, it'll be a learning year for him and while I don't see Craig being the same talent we should remember Tai's first GP year. Doyle's race 1 exclusion reinforced the idea that sometimes you shouldn't have to exclude anybody for me.

OveFundinFan
Front wheel over the white line issue - I see situation where the front wheel will go over the line whether a rider wants it too or not ie a lock up. Could mean there would be more then a few exclusions which is not what I would want to see. Barging an opponent out of the way too aggressively is another thing and using the front wheel over the white line is allowed rule to do it warrants some referee intervention. Cook is a one line rider ,fast in front in GB but this is a different ball game, can't keep talking about engines and set up like he does.

Speedway28
Brilliant to see Tai and it's a start for Cook, could've gone worse at least! You could see the difference in experience out there last night, he just needs time which admittedly, the GP's are not a place to learn! Hopefully he'll get better over the season though. I do think some people should realise how well he has done to get where he is and actually applaud him for his efforts so far. Laguta was the big surprise, definitely looks a decent contender for a top 5/6 place on the basis of last night, entertaining to watch too. Lindgren was strong as expected, also impressed with Holder, looked very fast at times.

Gaters paradise at the Marketa. Some excellent racing with Holder doing very well. Thought Woffindens childish behaviour was very poor before the final. And Holder's behaviour and attitude have been spot on for the last couple of year's.

How about we got a Brit at the top of the standings going for a third world title!! Holder did ok but he is an Aussie so couldnt really give a stuff about his form. Im only interested in Tai and Cook
PHILIPRISING
PRAGUE certainly wasn't a gaters' paradise last year. Since Pavel Ondrasik took over from his father the track at the Marketa has shown a considerable improvement.
Shockster
Riders moving at the start came into play again here. I agree with the warnings system, but do feel once we get to the Semi Finals that all previous warnings should be quashed. If a rider does move in the Semi then he carries it over should he reach the final. Maybe it's me, but should a warning in a riders first heat hang over him in the final?
Fromafar
Kind of agree, but must admit it does the trick, thought the ref dealt with the starts and warnings very well.

If we use your system riders who have already attempted to cheat in the heats get a free pass to try to cheat in the Semi or Final. I don't see the merit in that. WE all want a level start so why encourage something that may stop it. If riders try to cheat they must expect to be penalised.

Tai was 19, Cook is 30, different maturity level in the sport. And when in contention Tai put his bike where he knew he could get hurt. His best result in his first season was 7th so we'll see what happens in the remaining GPs. The other riders would have seen Cook tentative and will bully or rough him up every time. They know he can be moved out the way easily. I want him to do well but he won't win a heat with his Warsaw style of riding. He'll need to accept close racing and crashing is part of GP racing. I hope he does himself proud but I'm commenting on what we've all seen at Warsaw. He's done better at Cardiff as a wild card so there is hope. I agree in principle to what you say, but they're not going to get away with it anyway. Refs will pull them back if they jump. Also not sure about cheating being the right word more down to nerves IMO and who wants to see a 3 rider final when 4 is better.
Vince
15 hours ago, adonis said: for me .it reinforced that no wheels should be allowed over the white line . both holder and doyle specialise in diving inside people front wheel on the grass and barging them out of the way .they have been getting away with it for far too long , doyle was out and the ref was right . In this case I can't see a single thing Doyle could have done to avoid the accident, he was on a decent line and the bike is settled and stable. If anybody was at fault it was Pawlicki as he was the one changing line and who was into the back of Woffinden. However in truth I don't think he did anything wrong either it was a pure racing incident and a case where all 4 should be allowed in the re-run in my opinion. Front wheel going over the white line is just another technique in my opinion, one that some do better than others and is no more or less dangerous than running people wide when going for the dirt.
Vince
Reckon you need to have another look as his wheel wasn't on the grass, doesn't even touch the white line.
