The Third Man
maybe some substance to what you are saying but that is the big problem, his head never is.too inconsistent for me. decent call but ben and who at reserve? Sorry but it isn't 2008 next season, Ben Wilsons time came and went many years ago, why would you want him instead of either of this seasons reserves? spin king
Sorry but it isn't 2008 next season, Ben Wilsons time came and went many years ago, why would you want him instead of either of this seasons reserves? Got to agree and I will add Richard Hall to that list as well. On the subject of Garrity, I think people need to look at how many meetings he misses due to injuries in a season. Proctor looked very average when he came to Sheffield with Workington but the meeting he did for us he looked a different rider, but you then have to remember he was not riding against Sheffield riders who topped the league and were the only team in the league to win all of their home Championship fixtures. I throw another name into the hat Nico Covatti.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
I throw another name into the hat Nico Covatti. I very much hope you dont get this wish - really want Nico back at Foxhall. He was greatly missed after his early season injury.

Leave our riders alone lol Heeps and Covatti will hopefully be back at Foxhall in whatever league

OdsalBoy
Ben Wilson knows his way around owlerton and could do some damage in our home meetings down at reserve, was just a whacky idea. Also saw earlier posts about Cameron Heeps - yes please! As for no.1 scotty nicholls or Brady Kurtz for me.

Don't rate Nicholls - In the play-off meetings he took part in for Sheffield he only shone at Ipswich. Round Owlerton he looked no better than average. RedcarRacer
Out of interest what night will Sheffield be switching too - if you stay at this level?
OdsalBoy
Out of interest what night will Sheffield be switching too - if you stay at this level? I would be seriously surprised is Sheffield's race night was switched. Big big risk in my opinion. Thursday night is speedway night for many a die hard Sheffield Tigers fan. graz gp
Now that is the big question. Wednesday or Sunday those are the only days available because of the dog racing. I think the plan is to run in the Championship. But you never know anything can happen in speedway. I would like it to be Wednesday. Sunday a no go for me. utt. Like with Redcar and any team in the second tier, you won't have a choice - Monday and Thursday's will be top-flight only - which for me I think we have let them have a go at, and will cut down the guests etc which we all hate. graz gp
I am sure i have read somewhere that the tigers are running in the championship. They say they are looking to keep most of the champion from last season, and are just waiting for the points limit to come out of the meeting this weekend. I can see the team being all done and dusted pretty quickly.utt

It is ludicrous that you get punished for being successful. Edited November 15, 2017 by Gazc
graz gp
I totally agree. But the points limit will mean they have no choice but to change the team. utt
SheffieldTigersFan
Kyle Howarth has signed for a Polish Club. Glad he's making big moves, but it better not stop him from being at Sheff next year!!
