Mooose
Well that is a shock. I guess we need to give everyone some time to work things out one way or the other.
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
All the best to Josh. Hope he can work things out positively whatever his final decision re speedway is.
OdsalBoy
Been troubled since i read this statement about Josh Bates. An all out action hero and Speedway is at a loss without him. Stay strong Josh.
4thbender
Strikes me the lad has had a fallout with his bird and gone off on a strop. We've all been there and know what it's like to feel broken-hearted and desolate. Give him time - he'll come round. Once the icy blast of winter turns into the thaw of spring he'll start to realize that stacking shelves in Lidl is no way for an all-action Barnsley lad to earn a living. He'll be back on the bike by March.

graz gp
I hope Josh can sort his problems out and that is the most important thing. He need to be concentrating on riding the bike and not other things. There are a few months to the new season ,so hopefully it will be all sorted. The tigers management have said they will give him all the time he needs and fully support him. utt
graz gp
It's all quiet on the team building front for the tigers any news on the Kyle Howarth situation. I hear its a problem at the Workington end but i don't know if that is the case.utt

spin king junior
Think it's obvious we're playing the waiting game with Howarth. But question is, who's the other rider? If Edinburgh can have Andersson on a 5.20 then maybe we can go down a similar route?
graz gp
Well Kyle has been quoted as saying he wants to ride for the tiger. So when a rider says something like that he usually get's his wish.

Article in Star yesterday on Charles Wright quoted him joining Bjerre, Kurtz and Smith - so I'm guessing Kurtz is all agreed, just not officially announced via Sheffield sources

If Kyle goes back to Worky they may have to re-think the balance of the team dependent upon who they can find to replace Kyle.
OdsalBoy
All seems a bit up in the air at the moment after such a solid start to team building. Is josh going to do a U Turn and ride on, are we going to land Kyle Howarth ? if no to both then im not sure what our options are ?!??? jenga
i would like to see kyle back @ workington, but i dont think it will ever happen . i cant see the worky promotion holding out for a full transfer . they dont work like that ( unless fatha havva has joined our ranks) so it looks like sheff are the ones dragging their feet over the resigning of kyle . or kyle really does want a return to the blu n white . Tonga
Can’t see Kyle ever riding for Worky ever again after his last experience there. 100% Kyle at sheffield next year
