erniew
According to the Diamonds FB page we are at full strength tomorrow, as Robert Lambert is supposed to be out injured for two weeks, maybe someone from the club would like to tell the fans exactly what is going on!
racers and royals
Lambert rode today in Poland https://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/relacja/80870/friendship-speedway-trophy

Charlieboy
If Kyle Howarth is fit we might give Newcastle a run for their money but if he is still out I expect a home win.Our aim was to win the league and we achieved that along with the pairs.Since then I think the defeat on Monday has deflated us a bit.Howarth has been such an inspiration this season and we miss his influence in the pits. Its a nothing meeting now so cant see us been up for it to be honest. Blackadder
How can we be at full strength if Robert Lambert is missing ? Anything seems possible in Speedway at the moment.
screm
How can we be at full strength if Robert Lambert is missing ? As has already been mentioned Lambert rode in Poland today so all being well he should be a Brough Park tomorrow night.
erniew
So if Lambert rode in Poland today, his 2 week sick note was an excuse to miss Newcastle's meeting last weekend in the KO cup?

The Third Man
So if Lambert rode in Poland today, his 2 week sick note was an excuse to miss Newcastle's meeting last weekend in the KO cup Time really flies at the moment, one week for the price of two Let's see if/hope he rides tomorrow He should be banned tomorrow for missing Mondays match, cant believe any Newcastle fan would want him to ride after costing you the cup match Edited October 14, 2017 by The Third Man
erniew
And don't forget, he's also missing the CLRC at Glasgow tonight.
StevePark
And don't forget, he's also missing the CLRC at Glasgow tonight. But, he wasn't in the original staging, so why should he be in tonight? Meanwhile, he's just put on his Robert Lambert Racing Facebook page: "Today K participated at the Friendship Speedway Trophy. Track was really good and I felt good too there is not much to say. I have got the second place which is okey. It was nice to ride there At the moment we are watching SEC in Lublin before flying to England for the Newcastle Diamonds tomorrow" (Copied and Pasted directly from the page)

erniew
Steve, half of tonight's field wern't in the original lineup, are you happy that he felt no obligation to fulfill his contract with Newcastle by missing last week with a 2 week sicknote, yet rides today?

StevePark
Steve, half of tonight's field wern't in the original lineup, are you happy that he felt no obligation to fulfill his contract with Newcastle by missing last week with a 2 week sicknote, yet rides today? Those who are riding tonight are in it due to injuries/withdrawals from those originally it therefore hadn't originally qualified, so there is a massive difference to the RL situation. I'm not entirely delighted he missed last Monday's match (I wasn't too happy that I missed it as well!!), but, providing (after he rode today) he's there tomorrow, can we not give him the benefit of the doubt that he aggravated his knee injury (once the adrenalin has died down it's amazing how often you realise you've hurt yourself) and, after originally thought he'd be out for two weeks, he has recovered enough to ride? We just seem to knock riders (sometime legitimately, sometimes not) too easily, without knowing what is really going on. He has been taking the pi$$ out of Kings Lynn and Newcastle most of the season- including riding in Poland on Sunday and Sweden on Tuesday but with a sicknote for Britain inbetween, and last Monday was just plain Ludicrous yet still some can`t see it !!!!!!
