Are you 100% sure that these matches will count for the new averages.......

Updated averages have not been published on the BSPA website to date. Last GSA posting was 18/7/2018. Averages being posted are 2018 averages & are not used for GSA's. Not sure why the delay as they are due on 23rd but wonder if they are having to re-calculate the GSA's to take account of Rye House's demise.

100%

100% wrong that is

Averages that come into effect on August 1st will include the matches upto and including 23rd July so the Wednesday matches will not affect the August GSAs

41.86 is our combined total from 01/08 so Rosco is right, there isn’t much out there.

Rosco said in his after match report that there was no one available to replace Jack Smith. If that's true then speedway is really going down the tube, no one with such a low average around ?

It wouldn't be the first time he's been proven to be wrong though. ;)

Swindon back to winning ways but not a great meeting to watch, with very little overtaking after the first couple of bends.

Nick had another fall and it seems he may miss the trip to Somerset.

It was good to get the three point win and the points were shared between the riders with Zach getting extra rides due to tape exclusions etc and scoring an impressive 11+2, and Troy a good 11 point return.

Although we won the team need to up their performance slightly both when on the road and against a couple of the teams due to visit Blunsdon.

Our combined average on the BSPA site is 40.44 so taking away Jack's mammoth 1.30 average we have 3.36 to play with.

Look how ruthless Belle Vue have been today getting shot of the biggest improver in the League Etheridge for Mark Riss.

If Swindon don't make a change then they will not finish in the play offs.

Over to you Rosco.

41.86. Jack Smith 2.00

So only 2.46 available

The manager won’t make changes now sadly, we are stuck with Smith. Even if we do somehow make the playoffs, we will get found out by much stronger reserves, Poole, Belle Vue, Somerset etc.

The team was built on a strong top 5, but when that top 5 includes David Bellego and a misfiring Morris.
