He is a Swindon asset who was right under your noses and Rosco could have used him. Cheers for the loan though! Much appreciated! Stop stirring, he wouldn't have fitted in with our points limit without dropping 2 from the 1 - 5. I'm still confident that our team will finish off better than Poole. Take your troll hat off & get back to proper speedway talk. Edited May 17, 2018 by DunRobin

I’d keep Jack Smith only if he becomes an asset. Otherwise I’d replace him with someone who could, such as Flint, Jenkins or Kemp. Alternatively, if we want to win the league, we should replace Bellego and Smith with Rasmus Jensen/Mark Riss and Stefan Nielsen (recalling him from Poole and ruining their rubbish team) Morris Jensen/Riss Ellis Batchelor Musielak Wajknecht Nielsen Not sure Mark Riss would be a good thing especially in the top 5. DC2
True, but such are the averages! Would Riss and Nielsen average more than Bellego and Smith?

Rosco said last Thursday the team will not be changed this season and i am 100 per cent behind him on that loyalty means a lot. Some of the names mentioned to come in if anything makes us look weaker.

Ovalman
Had good chat with Doyley at Reading services earlier, onhis way to Somerset. Much prefers the Somerset management to Swindon's. Didn't realise Swindon were riding against the Rebs next Monday, he's so busy! Friendly genuine geezer. From Robins reserve to world champ in 5 years, incredible. thecoombdog
What a bit of business to sign Adam and Zach on full time deals. Zach getting better every week and Ellis gotta be the most improved rider in both leagues this season.

Sidney the robin
That is what Rosco is good at he backs his judgement on a rider and installs confidence in them.Adam and Zach are two prime examples Adam really has come on well and he will keep impoving the same with Zach he had a nasty injury last year so it has took him time but i see him getting his average above 4 by the end of the season.Another thing that has never been mentioned Rosco naming young Anders Rowe at number 8 ok he wont get many opportunities but how good was that for Anders being there at the pressday gaining experience and being shown that he is part of a longterm plan. Rosco was a young Sprocket at one time he had to work hard to come through the system and was given a chance so he understands the ins/ outs of the sport. Swindon as a club are going in the right direction i just hope the crowds hold up the club deserve that.
ProudtobeaBrummie
Where have all the we've got the worst reserves in the league brigade gone ??? Or have you realised that waj is in fact one of the league's best value riders and will put a nice amount on he's average now he's back up and fully fit ...

Mattfordfan
Its not bad business by Matt Ford at all. Fact is Alun Rossiter is the best team manager in British Speedway (Ill admit that) who knows how to motivate and knows how to get the best out of his riders. Ask yourself this serious question. Would David Bellego be the same rider under Middlo's management?

DunRobin
Do the BSPA know something that they are not telling us. I see from the latest GSA's for 24/5/18, that Mitchell Davey is back in the no' 7 shirt. It amazes me at times to see their total incompetence. It must have involved somebody removing Jack Smith from the spreadsheet & replacing him with Mitch. I know he's been released from hospital but that is expecting a miraculous comeback on somebodies part.

All change for issue 25/5/2018, Jack Smith has got his job back. Best wishes for your recovery Mitch & hope to see you back on a bike in the future. Perhaps there has been an amendment to the regulations that I haven't seen but Sundstrom and the two Poles completed their 4H and 4A on the 23 May and their new average should therefore come into affect 7 days later, on the 30th. 16.2.1.6 A SGB Premiership or Championship assessed League rider will establish an MA after 4 Home and 4 Away fixtures, becoming effective 7 days after the last qualifying Meeting. Should an Established MA not be achieved to be effective from 1st May, then the MC may issue a revised MA, based upon actual rides if the Team re-declares. ouch
The rule did change and is now the 1st not 7 days. There is lots wrong with the averages and I’ve emailed the BSPA but had no response so I’m interested to see matches take place with incorrect line ups.
