Swindon 2018

Recommended Posts

Even if rules allow Swindon have zero intention of utilising Jason this season even if none of ours are over 8 after first set of averages

Plus I don't think he would consider it now anyway

Why do you think he wouldnt consider it now?.

Understand his disappointment but thougt things were okish with him & the club.

Zach & Adam confirmed

brilliant news for the Robins. 2 bright British lads with big improvement in both ahead.

You cant bring Doyle back into the team even if Morris dropped below 8. The rules dont allow it.

That's assuming they haven't altered that rule but then again anything is possible.

Sorry to disagree with you but it can be done with the BSPA'S approval. Unlikely to happen but in theory according to the rules it can be done. In the 1st place, it would probably mean the Robins re-declaring their 1 - 7 or that other averages had also dropped to stay within the 42.5 limit. I do wish you would stop making statements before checking the rule book.

The rule book does not allow it. Simple as that. You would have to ask the MC to ignore the rule in the rulebook. Don't think any club has had success in basically cheating this way, as it would mean sacking a rider in the team to bring Doyle back in, which is against the rules as it states you cannot reintroduce a rider back into the team he rode for the previous season.

The only reason the mc would have discretion is for a returning rider to replace a season ending injury to a teams number one, and certainly NOT for a team to jiggle to gain an advantage.

Rosco in discussions with Jack Holder & Batchelor. I guess this means no place for Bellego in 2018.

1. Morris 8.87

2. J.Holder 5.82

3. Musielak 7.37

4. Ellis 5.56

5. Batchelor 7.63

6. ________

7. Zach 3.21

4.04 for last reserve

Would prefer that Darren but it isnt going to happen sadly.

It stands more chance than what you have suggested unfortunately as it would be 0.12 too high I believe?

Palm Toft is a decent shout though if he can be squeezed in, quite like the look of him. Would like to see Bellego and BWD back also. That would mean no room for Palm Toft.

Even with Zach & Bradley having a average reduction??
