Premiership Grand Final 2nd Leg - Wolves Vs Swindon 4 Oct

Recommended Posts

If tonight's score was other way around I wouldn't feel confident, so being -4 to start requires a monumental change in attitude and mindset.

After tonight, can anyone honestly see Swindon somehow managing to win 42-48? Before tonight 42-48 could be expected. However Swindon were so outclassed it would be the biggest comeback since Lazarus.

I have to believe otherwise what's the point. A good start and who knows...be level after 4 heats & you never know.

Wolves definitely deserved that. It would be difficult for Swindon if they had a small lead but with Wolves home advantage they need only show the same commitment and determination again in the second leg and they will be the proud winners of consecutive championships.

Newman is good around Monmore. But BWD is not injured. Ellis however is, as could be seen by his score tonight. Adam is a far better rider than tonight so his wrist might be the excuse Rosco is looking for to bring Kyle in?

I hope that is not the case. Ellis has ridden well this season and there should be no tactical chop out.

They cant use a guest to replace Ellis ..it would be rr

With Lindgren and Thorssell in the team I would be quietly confident now, but we don't have them, so................anything can happen.

Without 2 Monmore specialists in our line up this tie is most definitely not over.

Swindon will have no pressure on them now so I can still see a Swindon win.

Wolves will start as favourites and no one will be expecting to say that at any point up to 7.30pm Monday night.

I would agree that this isn't over yet, but it's certainly Wolves now in the driving seat with Swindon as the underdogs.

Were this the first leg - with the line ups as expected - people would be predicting a Swindon win. Wolves' performance in the first leg has changed that. Swindon are now underdogs, and need to take advantage of this.

I predict Swindon coming out fighting and having a load of bad corners due to over-riding! Can't see us winning at Monmore if Wolves maintain their mentality from the first leg - bit it's certainly possible.

Well you called it monumentally wrong in the first leg so just maybe they can!!!!!!

Anyway, it isn't an anticlimax for the neutral!

What if 43-47 on Wednesday?

How will so called Golden Heats look like?

Example:

GH1 Masters and Schlein vs. Doyle and Morra and any 5-1 or 4-2 finishes it all? Only in case of a 3-3 draw another pairs are called? Which means it is sudden death formula?

Can you honestly see Doyley going all out when he didn't on his home track, they will certainly need Ellis to up his game because he is usually very good at the Wolves track.

Can't see Swindon winning at Wolves.

Doyle mised the start twice and on a slick start was not able to pass. SImple. Don't think he wasn't trying.

And even if Doyle, Morris, Musielak and Bellego repeat their scors from 1st leg which they are able to do, there is still plenty of potential improvement in Ellis and BWD scores.

47/48 will not be easy but is realistic.

How come the Wolves riders managed to pass, Doyle couldn't even pass Riss!

Swindon could do it but all the Wol;ves team go so well at their own track I really can't see it happening.
