I'd start looking for a new date Dick. The Met Office has been pretty crap over the last few months but they can't be that wrong surely Edited April 23, 2018 by Crump99
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Just seen the BBC breakfast forecast and the band of rain has enlarged alarmingly Will be a surprise if it misses the showground now - but the way these things change so quickly at present who knows! A Promoters nightmare

Fromafar
Illy took a heavy fall ,clipped the fence coming out 4th and got thrown down hard onto track, walked into ambulance though. The 2 Berwick riders deserve a mention done well to avoid the fallen rider. Uilly was a very lucky guy last night last night. He drifted out on the forth bend and, with no grip, he hit the fence hard and him and the bike were strewn down the straight. The first rider in third place chose to go though the gap between the bike and Ully, but the last rider seeing it all late, chose to go though the gap between Ully and the fence, and watching it in the pits , it was a good choice which only just came off. Situations like that need quick and correct actions and because of the actions of those two riders Ulli was not so badly injured. Completely agree, just for context for those who were not there the first was David Howe and the second was John Lindman.

Its only the same as riding in Denmark. The riders need to earn a living, & will ride as many meetings as possible.

If Ostergaard is unfit to ride at Edinburgh on Friday it will create a major problem getting a suitable guest to cover as there are 5 championship meetings and the only side without a meeting is Newcastle so we may have to think about using rider replacement. Couple of years ago Ludde had a double max in a double header at Edinburgh, a 15 pointer and a 9 in a curtailed meeting before the curfew.
