Danny Phillips and Matej Kus next At this rate we will be unable to put out a competitive side and maybe time to think of pulling out of the championship and putting the license on ice for 12 months , who wants to see there team being thrashed most weeks all because the bloody minded BSPA , can't see the problem they have made with there inane decisions. We have the same opportunity as all of the other clubs to attract riders to Peterborough yet we keep going down the same team building route with the same riders. The 6+ rule is stupid but even without it we'd have a seriously disjointed looking team. We showed last season that you need 2 proper heat leaders at 1&5 and it won us a trophy, yet what do we do? Where's the improvement in MPT, Ostergaard, Lambert and Grondal? Edited December 10, 2017 by Flappy
wealdstone
Hopefully Ged has something up his sleeve, but at the moment the present team looks a total disaster.
Panthers70
James Shanes signs for Sheffield another great signing for another club Which means if they sign Howarth as predicted everywhere they would have 5.05 left for the final place so Todd Kurtz won't fit
Panthers89
Even if we sign Kurtz we need a heat leader

Good idea, but if they don't run and it would be a case of never run again as it's just what the homeowners want

Sunday racing is the biggest problem for riders signing for Panthers , we need to have midweek racing but then not enough turn up to watch.. wealdstone
If they are not competitive then there is absolutely no point running. Many will see your point. However I also think that if Panthers miss a season we will never see them again. The present line up looks iffy to say the least

The present line up looks iffy to say the least Without a top class NO1 the riders signed so far only convince me they are in for a battering on a regular basis and I doubt attendances would hold up for more than a few meetings , sods law comes to mind, run at your peril and be massively out of pocket or not run at all put the license on ice for 12 months. Flappy
Look at that sheffield team compared to the cobbled together mess we've got

I am sure that Ged can not and will not be able to sustain any financial losses so the situation looks very grim whatever way it is looked at. He is just not well off enough to do so. If it went on ice it wouldnt be for 12 months, it would be forever as speedway has to remain running or the homeowners would hold the we were here first card and it would be the end of speedway at the showground , perhaps its time to admit defeat and close it down now before as you say he loses to much with the non competitive team being assembled Edited December 8, 2017 by scoobydoo
