Baldyman
Let's all hope the panthers stay open, would be such shame that one man's selfish actions could cause a club to close.

And another man hell bent on a punishment for Ged beyond anybody's comprehension and unrealistically above anything one would have expected and with this in mind Buster Chapman could well have drove the last nail in the coffin of Peterborough speedway . Well done Buster , Buster is a very fitting name .

Badge
And another man hell bent on a punishment for Ged beyond anybody's comprehension and unrealistically above anything one would have expected and with this in mind Buster Chapman could well have drove the last nail in the coffin of Peterborough speedway . Well done Buster , Buster is a very fitting name . NEP you are a very unbiased poster usually and I like reading your posts!! I get that you are angry over this whole debacle but lashing out at Buster is somewhat unfair when this whole situation was not instigated or caused by him now was it?Stand up Mr Holder, Mr Ged and I suspect our southern hairdresser. Does the fine fit the crime? I've no idea, but ged himself alluded to it being worth Peterborough while allowing him to ride in Poland, saying that the team had no chance of making play offs. So ged went against BSPA, threw in the towel over the championship and probably took money. That's who you really should be blaming I'm afraid. Fingers crossed for the panthers coming to tapes in 2018.
New era Panthers
Do you know this for fact or is it just a guess/opinion? It's a well known fact that Chapman has little time for Ged and was just waiting for this opportunity. NEP you are a very unbiased poster usually and I like reading your posts!! Yes he should be punished for what he has done but £40,000+ . If it was football or another high profile sport yes but this is speedway with clubs struggling to survive as it is . Yes I am angry fans put a lot of money up front for the survival of the club and at the end of the day we may lose everything .
Baldyman
In the hearing though, they may have asked ged how much money he got from Torun. It may have been 40 grand who knows, so fine may have reflected on the figure he got.

I have no idea what the deal from Torun was, or indeed what the fine actually, however the fine HAS to outweigh any financial payment or the perceived financial gain from "deals/favours" etc. Otherwise where is the deterrent for the future? So until you can state what Ged gained from the situation you can't complain about the level of fine! dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
SCB statement re Ged now published. Fine matches the monies received. Free admission to first 2018 fixture.

So until you can state what Ged gained from the situation you can't complain about the level of fine! Just read the report on SGB website Ged fined the same amount as what he received from Poland . I hold my hands up and have to say he has got what he deserves It's no good complaining about the size of the fine , he has broken the rules and deserves his punishment . My main concern is where does this leave Panthers fans who put quite a lot of money up front for the club to survive should Ged refuse to pay the fine as the showground will not deal with any other would be promoter.
Baldyman
So it isn't a problem then, hand the money over. He should have been fined more as a deterrent for the future.

Agree on the second point too, probably should have been more!
