full-throttle
This has been posted with regard to Josh's retirement from the sport. It appears to still be in the air atm
Teromaafan
So the management are giving Josh 'as much time and space as he needs'. I assume/hope that this means they will continue team building without him but keep him in mind when (inevitably sometime in April) they are looking to shake things up due to riders under performing. We wish Josh well and hope he sorts things out but the Lions (and Sheffield) have to look at the bigger picture despite the family connections. SteveLyric2
Sorry if this has been mentioned already but is Kim Nilsson on his way back to Leicester?

Someone said they'd heard from his mechanic that Kim doesn't intend on riding in the UK in 2018. I was wondering if anyone knew what the plan was with Bates now? The statement says they'll support him, but doesn't mention if they're now building the team with him in it or a team assuming his services won't be available. Robbobee
It's all gone very quiet on the Leicester Lions front team-wise for next season ? Anybody any news snippets? Cheers

The Observer
Happy with the latest signing, should be a strong No 7, just needs to get his starts sorted.

Will be interesting to see Didnt ride in the Prem in 2017 so going by Woryna ( and also Morley and Zach W at Lakeside in Champ) it should be his 2016 Prem figure and not a conversion or reassessment.... And to add to the confusion Clegg apparently is a 2.00 from his 4 matches for wolves, which is neither his championship average or his starting 2017 average (given he didn't ride enough for a new average - he is given one anyway). Seems they make averages stick to whoever asks.
Teromaafan
So Sarjeant's average for Premiership (superior league) team building is 3.81 yet his Championship (inferior league) final average from last season was 3.33, how can this be right? If he has an established top flight average then that's the one that counts. Unless the BSPA apply a rule to suit him like they have with Clegg. Barrow Boy 2
If his 2017 Div 2 average is 3.33 then I think it would be fair to give him the converted Div 1 equivalent of 2.56.
Panthers89
If he is on a 2.00 odd average, very shrewd signing IMO, anything like 3.81, big gamble.
GoldenGauntlet
Surprised to see James back. I would have thought he needed to establish himself more in the second tier before being ready for the Championship, but if he's riding in the Lions colours, best of luck to him.
