Col
On 2.6 not 3.8 he isn't a bad signing, dependent on the final rider.
SCB
7 hours ago, Hamish McRaker said: Ref should be able to decide. Let it continue if the culprit doesn't gain an advantage, stop and exclude if he does. No replacement allowed, no 15 yard handicap. All remaining riders straight back to the start if it's stopped for an exclusion. If someone breaks the tapes it has to be a restart. Refs also need to release the tapes promptly. The issue is that referees have gone power mad and decided that there is no way some riders can be as good as they are so when they do make a start they call it back, unfairly. How much of a kick in the balls do you think it is for Sarj every time he makes a start to have it called back. It’s not as if he’s rolling. If the referees are that good at telling Sarj has jumped get them in a bike instead because their reactions are immense.

Pirates Of Poole
So how many points are left for final rider?
Lionsman66
Gotta be in the region of 7.3 surely. If a big name is gonna represent the last heat leader position. I see the Lions being a formidable team at home in 2018. With some experience on away tracks they could hold a few surprises too I wouldn't wonder

Robbobee
Happy with Hans Andersen if he is the last rider 7.75 ..... If no Bates then a rider up to 6.17 to fill .... ? Cheers

Never imagined Hans ever wearing the kevlars of the Lions, but I'd settle for him if that's the case. He'd be an ideal 2nd heat leader. If his average is 2.56, it leaves 8.40. This is based on Vaculik 8 and KP 6 as per Flagrag. In the case of it being 2.56, they could bring in Hans Andersen and swap Josh Bates for Lasse Bjerre if Josh really does have to quit speedway. If I'm wrong let me know and I'll send the calculator back!! Hans Andersen and Lasse Bjerre? You might have something there!
poolebolton
Think Hans would be great for you guys. Is a good team leader. And if KP gets used to the UK he will easily be your 2nd heat leader with the talent he has displayed. King as a 4th rider would be a huge advantage. And with Newman hopefully finally getting it all sorted really good go far.
Lionsman66
With that calibre of riders our lions are looking to make play offs quite comfortably barring injury Edited January 2, 2018 by Lionsman66
beckettlion
If Bates isn’t riding I hope the promotion would try and re-sign Nicolai Klindt. Similar average to Bates and has previously shown he could be a heat leader at Beaumont Park.. would be a good addition heard the final rider will be announced at some point within a week!
