Stoke Potter
Poor spectacle, especially for a Grand Final. Swindon never seems to be prepared for decent racing. 10 Passes in 6 Heats, 9 Heats no passes. This is what's wrong with the sport!
foreverblue
Well done Wolves, no one can say they didnt deserve it after that performance. Swindon bottled it.
ytsejam
Well that surprised me completely, a huge well done to Wolves for that. They may be a little disappointed in the end to only have a 4 point lead but I'm sure before the meeting started that wouldnt have even dreamt of that! Perton Wolf
Important for Wolves to think about Wednesday as a normal meeting. Don't think about the aggregate as it will obviously be close early but to think that if you win on the night, that's all that matters as we win overall. Steve Shovlar
Game over imo Doyle will not want to mix it can only see a wolves win at home But who honestly thought wolves would have won tonight Nobody. Doyle riding for himself, not his teams. Wants to be WC and who can blame him? He won't take risks. Rosco talking the talk that it isn't over. But you can hear the disappointment in his voice.  As a neutral(yes really I am) it would be great fun for Swindon to come back and give Wolves fans a big squeaky bum. Those who say that was a choke, don't know speedway well enough and are doing wolves a huge disservice, they were excellentIt was the biggest choke in playoff history. Swindon were virtually full strength at home. They should never have given that weak Wolves lineup a sniff. TheRealFiend
Well done Wolves. More of the same later this week please. Not going to go overboard on here because there is a 2nd leg to go yet.
wolfcrazy
I know that Speedway can throw up surprises but was not expecting that. Well done boys. It's hard to gauge whether that was purely a fired up Wolves, an ill-prepared' complacent Swindon or the perfect balance of the two... Depending on your perspective of course
Crazy robin
43 47 job completely done. Â That, ladies and gentlemen, is the perfect definition of a choke. Â The Swindon management and riders saw that Lindgren and Thorsell were missing, and like 99% of us on here and other social media, thought it would be a stroll in the park. Swindon believed all they had to do was turn up. Terrible, terrible complacency. Â However, Wolves riders were fired up to furnace temperatures and just blew a pathetic Swindon effort away. Well done to them. Â When Poole lost the league in 2010 we had gone off the boil just before the playoffs. Watching Swindon fail to impress last week, I thought the same. I thought Wolves would be champs until they lost their top two. But the rest are clearly fired up and I don't see Swindon getting close at Monmore. Â If there was a night to justify one big league it was tonight as Wolves 6 double uppers beat Swindon's team. Â Well done Wolves.
Mark
Peter Adams said Jacob T needs an operation on his back but Freddie doesn't. He needs a neck brace. Both have broken vertebra in there back. Adams said both were serious injuries that will take months not weeks to repair.
ProudtobeaBrummie
Greaves in Heat 14 you have got to be kidding me. WTF is Adams thinking. Â Incredible really ... Peter Adams masterminds possibly the win of the season when every had wolves wrote off and people still have a pop

Phlipphlopp
Not sure anyone saw that coming , not even the most optimistic Wolves fans would have seen that coming. Quicker out the gate and wanted it more.
bellevueace
Wow even we don't choke to that extent, being under strength really fired up Wolves cant see Swindon getting near at Monmore at all, don't think we will see a repeat of what happened in Sweden. Just hope that as a wounded animal & now the under dog we can fight back. The first few heats will be massive for us.

Hawk127
Well done to Wolves and a good team effort. Disappointed that both managers do not seem to give each other the time of day and while Wolves seem magnanimous and still do not under esmiate the task ahead the Swindon management leave a lot to be desired in walking away without a bye or leave.Accept with grace the result, shake hands and onward and upward to Wednesday. Rosco simply walking away after the interview is sadly lacking in manners or diplomacy. Good luck to both teams on Wednesday.
keef robin
Well done Wolves fully deserved. Only about 50 fans on back straight and the ones I spoke to don't think its all over.

Think we have seen exactly the same as in Sweden, only the underdogs got the away leg first over here. Â Rosco was pretty poor on camera. Don't think he gets on well with Adams. Â No matter how you look at it, Swindon choked worse than any other club in playoff history. The whole team was completely awol in the first half and they stemmed the flow with having the run of 2-4 in the middle, then in 13 and 15. 2 and 4 so much better than 1-3. Â Poor meeting racing wise. 9 races settled after the second bend. The suprise of the scoreline keeping it interesting. Â Can Swindon turn it around? Doubt it but you never know. Doubt Adams will allow for complacency in the ranks.
