topaz325
The Comets versus the Panthers, should be some good racing with Harris, Ostergaard and guest Charles Wright visting Derwent Park. According to the Speedway Star Workington will be without Thomas Jorgensen, so maybe rider replacement? Just checked the Comets site, it is r/r and Tom Wooley is the guest reserve. Panthers89
Charles Wright at number 1? Yup, nice to be told by another team before us mind.... sad really, but thanks Workington. ' Proctor returns Jorgensen still absent Following last weekend's thrilling win against Glasgow Tigers the Comets take on a strong Peterborough Panthers team. The Comets will once again be without Dane Thomas Jorgensen who is still undergoing treatment for his knee injury which kept him out of action last weekend. We will be operating Rider Replacement for him. Ty Proctor returns from illness and Tom Woolley will continue at number 7. For the Panthers, Australian star Jack Holder misses out due to being on World Under 21 duty, former Comet Charles Wright will replace him for the evening. Line ups Comets - Cook, R/R Jorgensen, Campton, Williamson, Proctor, Sarjeant, Woolley Panthers - Wright, Wilson-Dean, Starke, Ostergaard, Harris, Lambert, Bacon'

One of Keith's many mistakes. Who in there right mind would dropped Charles Wright for gary Irving, but hey ho all water under the bridge now. LagutaRacingFan
A wonderful away win. We've had a dreadful season but we've still won more than Ipswich.
topaz325
Well done Peterborough on the win too much strength in depth for Worky some good races on a cold night, not helped by many re runs and falls. Thought James Sarjent was hard done by the ref when excluded for being the cause of the crash in ht 2, just hard riding and cannot see how the ref could see the incicdent? Good win for Matt over Harris.

scaramanga
BWD riding himself out the team. Again, 1 and 2 poor i watched bwd on bt sports monday and he was fantastic just shows how competative this league is compared to the socalled top flight when he was so far at the back at workington some good racing tonight once again spoiled by jim mcgregors constant pulling heats back and phone calls to the c.o.c once the meeting got going it was good entertainment on a chilly night in west cumbria will next weeks meeting be the last ever speedway meeting in cumbria lets hope not but for it to continue the crowds need to improve next year if they run
