scaramanga
are you sure always thought mitch was australian with british ansestrey thats why it took so long last year to get his average confirmed even if he is british born he should never have been on a 2 point average as hes been riding for years at this level Edited December 17, 2017 by scaramanga

scaramanga
so if we got lets say if we got a rider like peter kildermand to apply and get british citizen clubs could sign him on a 2 point average no way should davey be classed as a 2 pointer hes rode in this league too much and previously held a average above the limit that was set
stewmac
Sorry to disappoint you scaramanga but Davey's delay in signing last year was due to him awaiting his British passport. So, it's unarguable that he is in fact a British citizen. Of course, he also has Aussie citizenship too, but the fact that he had UK citizenship made his 2 point average perfectly correct. That said, in my view 2 points was too high as he is and always has been utter pants. That was ably proven by the lad himself as others of a similar average (and much less experience than him) at the start of the season all improved as the season went on while he didn't. Thank the Lord he won't be back this coming season. Edited December 17, 2017 by stewmac Mistake

IronScorpion
Clegg was on his -2.5% brit reduction taking him to 4.23 I think, Davey was a 3 & Riss was the big hitting reserve at the start of the season.

TheScotsman
Interesting signing. 5.25 left so we are going for the strength in depth approach with a big bunch of improvers. Looking like another foreigner to complete the lineup. And no Sedgy despite what the Weegies & Ippolytes expected!

Quite a bit of pressure on Ricky and Erik this season.
