Also there's another rumour that the Monarchs will be business as usual at Armadale next year , I know which one has more credibility . tyretrax
I've heard both, one from the horse's mouth, so I know which one I believe.
Gazc
I've heard both, one from the horse's mouth, so I know which one I believe. Talking horses mate whatever next, someone will probably make a tv series out of it. Edited September 26, 2017 by Gazc
Dekker
It looked like he was trying to get it down to reserve standard It's clear the monarchs didn't fancy him as a HL - nothing he did for ippo chnages that, i'd be surprised if he is back at Edin unless it's as 2nd string
Fromafar
Erik's post on Facebook after the Ipswich meeting suggested he doesn't expect to be back.He would be the first name on the team sheet for me.

JanAndersen
He would be the first name on the team sheet for me. Agree - both Riss boys Agree but might not be Edinburgh's decision i suppose. Full time Premiership isn't the lure it used to be so if he does choose to leave i expect it's for more racing on the continent?
Bandit59
Need reserves that are capable of improving. Not like this year where we went with the mantra "as long as our boy beats the other team's number 7." Richie Worrall looking for a Club? Agree Richie wouuld nae be a bad number

JanAndersen
If as rumoured, the Premiership moves to a 12 team league, is their any chance Edinburgh could be one of the four moving up?

Cant see any of the Northern teams moving up . An increased Premiership would only interest Peterborough and Ipswich as they are a bit isolated geographically in our division . Sheffield too could conceivably move up . But the rest of us are more suited to what we have , a predominately northern league .

Add in Lakeside potentially choosing to take their top tier licence 'off ice' and you have the 4 to make 12.Also cant see the promtion/relegation meetings actually meaning anything when it comes to which leaugue either team will end up in.
JanAndersen
The difference in standard between the two leagues is nothing like what it used to be. Time for a north and south division then the cup compettions and pairs/fours as a total country?

IronScorpion
Plus apart from about a dozen riders , it's the same riders in both leagues At my last count a while ago, of the 56 riders declared, 34 rode in at least 2 teams!
kermitfrog
Ricky Wells 8.85 Mason Campton 5.73 Broc Nicol 5.00 Mark Riss 5.68 Erik Riss 8.05 Josh Pickering 4.62 2 Pointer 2.00 = 39.93 Obviously I'm not an Edinburgh fan but does this seem likely?
