It is Denmark's only 1000 meter speedway with a fine motorcross plant. It is here that Ole Olsen sled some of his first tires. Now the whole glory is put on sale for one and a half million.

The 26 hectare plot also houses an agricultural property and open areas, but most famous is the place because of the motorsports track, Skovbybanen, where ferocious motocross riders can turn the throttle down and have done it since 1969.

Boliga.dk home page writes about the offer:

"It's not a housing type, we've got the big experience - it's quite special that one comes for sale," says Bent Dall, Managing Director of Danbolig Andersen & Partner, who has the property for sale.

For many years, Skovbybanen has been part of the motocross environment in the area with several annual runs on the property's three lanes, which Haderslev Motorsport pt has.

"It's almost an institution in the area, it has been around for about 70 years, so we hope it can be continued, but there is also the possibility that a new buyer will build a new house and possibly use it as a hunting house, says Bent Dall to Boliga.dk.

According to the sales layout, the grounds are extremely scenic with, among other things, a few lakes and an area of moss.

The residence itself is 117 square meters, with a large workshop and a clubhouse.

The price is 1.500.000 kr.

Skovbybanen is a magnificent story dating back to 1969, while the association behind goes even further back.

The Haderslev Motor Sport Association was founded on 7 June 1945 with Kaj Boilesen as chairman. The club's purpose was to race with motorcycles, cars and speedway bikes. In 1946 the club opened the Bøghoved course and drove it until the closure in 1967.

Then it was decided to set a new lane at Skovby some kilometers southwest of Haderslev. The club was already a few years before starting work on this project, but the necessary permits were only given in 1966. The club concentrated in 1967 to build the track, which opened on April 13, 1969. In 1970, the motocross track came to.
