tellboy
Thought Heeps might have been back tonight. He was all suited and booted last night at Lynn to have a spin after the meeting.Maybe still not quite fit enough for competetive racing at the moment then. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Would be a miracle if he was fit for any plays off let alone tonight. As much as I want him back in the team the last thing he needs is to bugger himself up coming back too early.
KingIvan
Tigers to get the 6 points tonight. To win by at least 12 points in both meetings.
Super Blue
Although the 2nd match against the Witches might not actually get finished depending on anything occurring or possible curfew in place it would be good if we could give Sheffield something to think about with regard to who they pick for the playoff semi. Although we've been comfortable winners both times at Foxhall with Sheffield even more so on our previous visit there we need to lay down a marker that we can't be taken lightly. Bring on the playoffs.
Mr Blobby
As long as we stay safe and give a decent account of ourselves that'll do for me tomorrows home match more important IMO.
Badge
Well done Sheffield, double header, double win tonight. Looks like our boys machinery let them down a bit, but gave the Tigers a run for their money till the last few heats.
TheScotsman
Well done to the genuine tiggers - gave us a right royal humping.
Mr Blobby
Was there a speedway meeting on tonight. Seemed like Ricky Wells and the Sheffield boys were the only ones aware of it. Oh dear.

Cue Ball
Not the most exciting couple of meetings, save for Lasse Bjerre and his wall of death moves! Can't believe how wide that guy can ride - possibly the only person who gets closer to the fence than Richard Hall used to
Heathcote
As a few have indicated it was pretty much a bore fest with 60 seconds of excitement dragged out over 3 hours. Admittedly though cannot deny that Lasse's ride in heat 9 was worth the admission alone, not only the most exciting heat of the night but potentially of the season. Yes Ipswich's bike troubles may have let the meeting go at the end although it would be hard to deny that Sheffield's bike troubles at the start of the meeting are what kept close in the first place. As for Ricky Wells, pretty sure in put in more good rides in this one meeting than he did in the whole season he rode for us

Baldyman
So why was it boring all night? Dirt to wide?
Super Blue
Although we fell away at the end of the meeting I think we did enough in the opening two thirds to be avoided in the playoff semi's. But time will tell.
Baldyman
They will pick Glasgow surely, having just recently won there? I see sheffield as clear favourites for the title. Cue Ball
I see sheffield as clear favourites for the title. I'm not so sure - I know we had some gremlins at the start of the Ipswich meeting, but they were giving us more than a run for our money until heat 12 and we haven't exactly pulled up any trees at their place this year. Think both teams would be fairly confident of their chances over the 2 legs
graz gp
That's how to run two speedway meeting's. Congratulations to all concerned, riders, track staff, who must be the best in the business. No messing about. Curfew at 10pm. Dun and dusted for 10pm. Oh and the Tiger's were awesome. Lasse in heat 9 wow that was special. Imo it does not make any difference who the Tigers pick. Keep it close in the away leg's, and sort them out at Owlerton.( i hope) UTT
Charlieboy
Great performance from the tigers last night and well run meeting. Some decent racing but not every race.I don't know why there are so many so called supporters moaning about the standard of racing.Expecting all 4 riders passing constantly for 4 laps is not going to happen so get real.If the racing at Scunthorpe is like that every week (as some people keep mentioning how good it is) then why do they get poor crowds. If people are not happy with the racing at Sheffield then don't go,simple. Our promotion have done a cracking job putting this team togethter so support what weve got or don't go.Lasse s race was top drawer but what about young Georgie beating Riss in a composed manor,The rest of the lads also had their moments. Its ages since we last had a good team capable of winning a trophy so SUPPORT the team. One criticism from last night was we didn't water the track for the 2nd meeting and it was getting too slick and making it more important from the gate.Well done lads keep it up.
