hyderd
Hopefully this will be rectified at the usual winter BSPA party, I personally would like to see (throughout the sport) Gardening at the tapes made illegal.
speedwaysliders
Hopefully this will be rectified at the usual winter BSPA party, I personally would like to see (throughout the sport) Gardening at the tapes made illegal. OR could you do the totally opposite, put the 2mins on,get rid of the start marshal(to be honest the riders take the mick with most of them)let the riders dig to their hearts content but if they are not ready to race when the clock counts down to zero its their own fault,LET the riders do work they like within the 2 mins, then put the green light on ,and start the raceit should be fun!!!!!!!!!!!! bellevueace
After Newman and the goggles incident we always seem to be on the wrong end of these things, hopefully what goes round comes round eventually because at the moment we are going to need some divine intervention come the semi,s the way things are going. Grachan
After Newman and the goggles incident we always seem to be on the wrong end of these things, hopefully what goes round comes round eventually because at the moment we are going to need some divine intervention come the semi,s the way things are going. The Newman Google's thing was, to be honest, a lot of fuss over nothing. There are many instances I remember seeing riders removing goggles or face masks because they couldn't see. People were even praising riders for riding in a match at King's Lynn this year where it was raining and riders were removing goggles. Newman was actually riding at a disadvantage when he did that. The Swindon situation is a bit different as it was clearly against rules. Just hard to believe that two managers plus a referee failed to notice. Aces51
The difference is that Newman started the race without goggles, which is contrary to the rules, removing them during the race isn't. So in both instances the rules were broken.
Lord Skid
Should be able to see easily, that's why you pay £200+ for a dirt deflector.

I assume its for BWD who must know that despite 'ongoing assessment' he won't be fit by next Friday!?

Peterborough have a meeting, THJ's average is lower than Brad's so well within the rules

The rules at the time were broken. Had Mark Lemon appealed before the running of heat 13 that night then Newmans points would have been removed. Funny isn't it how it was heat 12 again and it was Mark Lemon missing it again. How much more is he going to cost BV with his poor knowledge of the rules?! colin wood
Mark Lemon missed it,the referee missed it and so did Roscoe. If Roscoe knew he was surely cheating. If he didn't that's two managers and a referee who don't know the rules.

Steve0
We are just worried that you are going to get hated like we are. It's done with love How can Swindon be hated? At the start of the year a lot of people laughed at the make-up of the team and look where they finished. If anything they should be applauded how they proved everyone wrong rather than try and find fault. People hate Poole because they have a history of "bending/breaking" the rules
Steve Shovlar
When was the last time Poole allegedly broke any rules? Years ago with Proctor at Peterborough, which Matt Ford quickly put his hands up to not realising the 5% was only for home fixtures. A genuine mistake sorted next day. Most of the "Poole cheating" is not cheating at all. Swindon now seem the team who are breaking rules and not even owning up to them and trying to get away with it. A simple statement admitting a mistake had been made and requesting the scores be changed would be enough. Instead we get silence from the management with their fans backing the mistake by saying its too late to change the score. Pretty disgraceful to be honest.
