Paul Johnson
Even if premiership ride on mondays or thursdays...i included Josh as i reckon rob would keep him in, bit like oystercard at boro
Moranboys
I'm sort of thinking that josh bates ends up n your side somewhere with lewis kerr coming the other way. also think that maybe richard lawson ends up at owlerton with j.g going the other way
beaky11
I would like to see something like this at Scunthorpe next year and think it could make for a team that can challenge next year 1. Kyle Howarth - 8.52 2. Jake Allen - 6.08 3. Josh Auty - 6.88 4. Stefan Neilsen - 5.53 5. Andreas Lyager - 7.00 6. Ellis Perks - 5.22 7. Josh Bailey - 2.70 I think this would be a very strong team, would be good to see Ellis Perks back at Scunny and him and Neilsen would swap at reserve during the season, team fits under 42 and we would have an out and out number 1 in Howarth and then a brilliant back up in Lyager! Fingers crossed for something like this next year

Heather12
I know a lot of people would disagree but I would actually like to see Tero back. I think he has a lot of potential and was showing it before he was wiped out twice, damaging both bikes in one meeting a few weeks ago. He always tries his best and is not one of the current riders who seem to be working very hard in lowering their averages. He doesn't tootle around at the back, "miss the gate..." or mysteriously have engine problems like some of them. I think we should be having a whip round for him rather than berating him

Sidney the robin
I know who'd I'd like to see in a scunny racejacket next season (providing the average limit is 46) (averages based on this weeks speedway star, so could be wrong) 1. Steve Worrall (9.26) 2. Jake Allen (6.08) 3. Thomas Jorgensen (7.22) 4. Josh Auty (7.44) 5. Nick Morris (9.07) 6. Fritz Wallner (3.76) (Would he have to come back on a 4?) 7. Jack P Blackburn (2.67) TOTAL - 45.5 On paper, it looks like a team that would entertain, do well home and away and potentially make the play offs Could many teams afford the wages of that line up? great line up though. beaky11
Very Strong, Really??? have a re think, its ok but Howarth won't ride anywhere apart from Sheffield, Auty getting worse year on year, Allen lot to prove in this league still at small tight away tracks, rest are only average Yes I would say that would be pretty dam strong, Howarth always goes well at EWR so if and it's a big if you can convince him then he's a good number 1 Josh has had a tough year but the last few weeks has been riding very well, move to number 3 and keep riding the way he is he should be back to his 8 point average Jake Allen has really been impressing recently so have no qualms about him and calling a rider like Lyager average I guess you haven't been looking at continental scores and the world U-21s as he is anything but average! Tonga
Ill have a go Stevie worrall Tommy jorgensen Josh auty Jake allen Stefan neilsen Jack parkinson blackbird Josh bailey Fits under 40 and i reckon teams will use 2 NL reserves JPB not a chance Rob would touch him! Can any team afford him?

Guest Scunny2012
Maybe Scunthorpe should go back to basics and drop down into the National league, with crowds getting to diehard level this would be a way of reducing costs and the racing wouldn't be affected, no more rider power or sulks and instead of a team of riders who show no improvement, a team of young riders that we can see improve year on year, just my view on things. Sidney the robin
I dont think some people realise just how lucky they are to have a promoter in which they have he tries his hardest and always puts on a show.He produces a great track he tries to track an entertaining team yet there are still some that grumble sometimes i wonder does he sometimes feel like jacking it all in.I hope next year they track a entertaining team also they deserve and get a Semi Final of the WC again as the track is superb and will produce a great night's racing.
phillwhitewasmad
Got to say the entertainment level is generally very high and the team is usually very entertaining however with the nature of people from Scunthorpe been if they aren't winning I'm not going has seen crowds fall . It isn't just a speedway thing it happens at the football club to. Think we need a winning team rather than an entertaining one mainly because some people feel there only entertained if there team wins

Seen him 7-8 times at Scunthorpe and he has been dreadful.. cant gate and doesnt pass much anymore.. at his best he is now a 7.5 point rider.. as i said hes gone stale needs a move.. Most Scunthorpe fans on here werent bothered when he retired abd even less so when he returned.. i was also there when he took the mic and announced he was returning.. was the most flat response ive seen at Speedway and thats saying something. Tosh1218
Next season Micheal palm toft - will ride elsewhere Jake Allen - must be the first name on team sheet Josh Auty - his effort since his return warrants a team spot next year Lewis Kerr - disappointing really when he gates he is a world beater but when he doesn't he just goes through the motions - will ride elsewhere Ryan Douglas - feel he put to much pressure on himself earlier in the season riding the JTR engine ,witnessed his O point return at Newcastle and from there he was always on to a loser , unless a change to the visa situation he won't be back Tero Aarnio - a good mid season signing and will be better next year from the start ,yes I would keep him Josh bailey - came into the season on a 2 pt average he is a young man learning his trade and we must keep him and see his improvement for us rather than for anther side So to me if it's the same average as this season we will have approx 20 to 22 points on 3 riders so for me that should be Simon Neilson, Tommy Jorgenson and a proven No 1 as a big hitter for this spot it will depend on how the top league will be formulated but a Danny King style rider would foot the bill . As a paying spectator I don't expect to win every match but would just like to see effort and commitment unlike this year when we have been disjointed ,also if as rumoured we are the only championship side not to pay bonus points I would like to see this addressed so we become a TEAM we're everyone pulls together on and off the track
sharpandroid
The Crazy Frog, would that be Berge or Bellego, has Berge not ridden in the UK this year? How would that affect his average. Saw them both in the Euro pairs, obviously Bellego is tbe better of the two, only seen Berge at the EWR, can't remember if he was any good. Enlightenment required please. Paul Johnson
What would Bellegos average be? i think he would have a championship average not a converted one..... Berge rode for Berwick before getting the chop and i know he is/was a fav of Robs and nearly signed him when Josh "retired" but he "got greedy" according to him, and yes to Bellego over Berge for me and yes berge is good around the EWR
