New Science
Big blow for Wolves losing Thorsell, showed his class at Belle Vue in the Premiership riders final. Less than 12 from Lindgren and I thonk Belle Vue will take the win on aggregate .Despately need Mark Riss and Greaves to contribute at reserve and avoid those last places.
Ace no.5
The way the forecast is this isn't gonna happen tomorrow. Not quite sure where we will go from there...
Gavan
any team relying on Schlien are in trouble from the start!yeah he has been shocking for my side Ipswich this season.... I mean I'm the play off semi final second leg away at Edinburgh we needed 2 points from heat 15.......Rory went and won the race...... shame we had to rely on him!
stevebrum
Bad weather or not predicted for tomorrow, it's just putting off the inevitable. Aces will win by about 20 on the night.
Col
Bad weather or not predicted for tomorrow, it's just putting off the inevitable. Aces will win by about 20 on the night. Why are you being so negative? Thorsells injury was unfortunate. Lindgren can take an R/R, which means if he is on his game he can score 18, he is a class above every Belle Vue rider, this year. If Schlein, Riss & Masters can add a few second places Wednesday, 13 points is a defend-able advantage to take to NSS. Howarth & Greaves need to nick a few thirds also. Ace no.5
He's doing the old Shovlar "we are the underdog" trick, which the bookies quite clearly disagree with massively.
mikebv
Can see this being a heat ten finish... 80% Chance of Rain at 8pm.. 90% Chance at 9pm... Be a shame if it's just ran through to get a result but there doesn't seem to be too many alternative nights to run it.. Let's hope the weather reports are wrong...☹
foreverblue
Tomorrows forecast looks better.
A ORLOV
With the threat of rain the teams, riders and more importantly refs have got to get on with the meeting and stop all the delays.
waytogo28
All the gardening and all the back to the pits traipsing etc etc etc IF Only that were to happen. Two minute hooter needs checking well before the start time.
spanner47
Surely BV will call this off, this last thing they want is to get within 10-12 points then have to curtail the meeting. As this sport is so crooked I'm sure they'll do what suits them. But we can't have a situation where it's getting close after heat 10 and then one side play the health and safety card. Call it off now!!!!!! All the gardening and all the back to the pits traipsing etc etc etc IF Only that were to happen. Two minute hooter needs checking well before the start time. But if the rain is coming in, then the team leading will go through the tapes instead of switching a reserve, rider in last place after first lap falls down and pretends he's injured, lots of ways to cheat and drag it out. Call me wolfie
Tomorrows forecast looks better. Tomorrow is the 1st leg of the championship final with Howarth, Schlein and Greaves all riding, the second leg is Saturday, and the forecast for Friday and Sunday is just as bad as today
Beowulf
He's doing the old Shovlar "we are the underdog" trick, which the bookies quite clearly disagree with massively. Would the odds have been determined before Monday's match ?
Shockster
Sheffield v Ipswich tomorrow and Saturday which includes Schlein, Howarth & Greaves so no chance Wolves riding then. Sunday has SGBC matches with plenty of riders from this meeting which only leaves Friday to reschedule and Belle Vue Colts are riding at Lakeside. Unless Bewley is truly injured and can't ride there either, then Friday is the only possible rain off date as the Finals are Monday/Wednesday next week?? Let's hope the weather behaves tonight. Rob B
Cant see any chance of tonight being on, depending which forecast you look at rain is coming in between 4 & 7 and then raining all evening. Only plan I can think of without loads of guests is run it Monday, BT can show it then. Have the first leg of Final next Wednesday and then Swindon can have the 2nd leg following Monday so they will be happy. A ORLOV
rider in last place after first lap falls down and pretends he's injured, lots of ways to cheat and drag it out. Let the rest continue racing, the one on the deck will soon get up and run
topaz325
Glasgow have no chance anyway so sounds like a sensible precaution to me very poor comment

bellevueace
I just hope they don't run the meeting just for the sake of getting it on if the forecast rain does arrive, running in poor conditions would be unfair to both sides and the fans who certainly don't want to see riders unable to race.
Call me wolfie
Guests then, meeting has to be run before Monday. That would be a joke, as already suggested the sensible option would be to have it next Monday with the 1st leg of the final on the Wednesday and the 2nd leg the following Monday. The bspa have scheduled the premiership and championship playoffs on different days for a reason
