Gavan
The irony of you asking anyone how old they are is hilarious you utter man child.. For one so bumptious so dismissive of the opinions of so many your “knowledge” of the sport is quite pitiful. I never dismiss anyones opinions. When people like you start abusing and name calling you have lost the battle young man. I though Lahti would do a whole lot better than he did. You then said he had beaten nobody, dross i think was the word you used......i then gave you evidence of who he had beat.....hardly dross. My opinion was wrong on this one, i never forced it on anyone just gave my opinion and the reasons why. The fact you feel it necessary to come on here and try to gloat is quite pathetic and childish really. If its what you enjoy then carry on. I hold my hands up if my opinions are wrong.....shame none of you so called Poole fans with many usernames do the same

Odds On
Jack Holder just looks a accident waiting to happen, perhaps he is one of those riders Jason Doyle referred to as being dangerous/out of control?
Fromafar
Well Nick Morris confirmed last night that he is used to Doyle's Team riding skills!!!!
foreverblue
Pretty much as expected, cracking meeting, great racing, lots of passing, Newman rode very well and in my opinion scored a few more than BWD would have done, Lahti was awful, no idea what has happened to his form, he wasn't on the pace in any race he must have been speaking to KK! Missed the gate and went backwards. Apart from his unfortunate engine failure Starke rode extremely well, looked quick and was on the pace all night, Shanes was also excellent especially his from the back ride to deny Davey on the line, great ride. Kennett also rode very well and looked quick especially his overtake on the back straight, Brady and Hans also did their jobs very well too but what has happened to Jack, clearly trying his socks off but just not happening. Overall enjoyable meeting and considering we were 10 behind with two races to go we did very well to get the deficit down to two and if you think of the points thrown away, Jack should have got at least a point in heat one, should have had a 5-1 in heat 2, Doyle should have been excluded ridiculous decision by Master Bates as we call him in my house! Anyway all water under the bridge, we are never going to beat this Swindon team over two legs but we could have made it more interesting with a bit of luck. Rosco thinks his team were unlucky what is he on about!
ray c
I think rosco could have said i think poole was a little unlucky not to get something out of the meeting in which we were
stevebrum
It has to be, quite possibly, the worst conspiracy theory ever concocted. Coming up with the idea that Bradley turned up without knowing he wasn't riding when he had already posted the fact himself just goes to show how lies can be spread on social media and become 'truths'. I guess someone dreamed it up after seeing he was there when they showed him on the telly! With all the fuss about this, it's a shame BY didn't interview him and get his own side of things. The truth is, he pulled out of taking an extra ride at Peterborough as he was unfit and would have been needed for extra rides at Poole. With all the bumps on the Poole track last night he clearly made the right decision. Great meeting last night for the first half, although the racing wasn't quite so good in the latter races. Good for Swindon to get a win, but they did chuck it away a bit at the end. Nice to see Bellego riding well, although he has ridden better. Race of the night was Ellis off 15m. Perfectly put. noggin
100% rubbish.ive watched it back at least 6 times and you can clearly see the red lights came on after Doyle fell.Really was a shocking decision . Hold on a minute, I'm only repeating what others have said, so don't go jumping on my post only.
LisaColette
What's wrong with a rider celebrating a win. Nothing, he's entitled to do so. His interview during the break was interesting, said he needed more time on the bike. Was there to score points for Swindon & that was it. Again, he's self employed so it's perfectly acceptable. Should have have more points but looked slow in his first ride & made a few mistakes due to the 3/4 bend catching him out. It wasn't Newman which won the match for Swindon, it was Poole's own riders losing it for them. Lathi done what most said, struggle in the top 5 as he did previously, What a load of rubbish! BWD got 6 last time? Kyle got 8, you won by 2 so he did win them the meeting. Also the meeting before Lahti dropped to reserve he scored 12 at Poole, obviously not using the engine he had been! STEVEHOLS54
Seen lots of criticism for Holder jr which can understand from frustrated fans after his recent successes in Poland and Peterborough. However lets maybe not be too harsh. In last seasons semis a certain B.Kurtz scored 7 from 4 at home and 0 from 3 away. 7 from 7. That's 4 points av per 4 rides over the 2 legs. He was also replaced by reserves in his last 2 rides. Even Kurtz was up and down in his first season in the top flight. I think he will improve, but big question is after this season can Matt Ford allow for what will be ups and downs next season. Too much pressure on young riders imo. It was similar with Kurtz last year although I think Kurtz is and will be better rider overall. I think Holders future may well depend on whether M.Ford can get a really good number 1 for 2018. Holders low GSA of 5.86 and dropping again after 3 points from 4 rides last night is still a reasonably low GSA for a rider with such potential. His scores for Peterborough and in Poland show he is no donkey especially if on the right equip. Plus he is only 21 with 1 season less in UK than Kurtz who is 6 months younger. I think Kurtz has over performed this year and only just about to turn 21. Its so easy to get angry and upset with riders when meetings go wrong but considering Holders age and experience in UK he is for me coming along nicely and will improve. (Of course will have good/bad meetings but no diff to Kurtz last season). The real anger has to be levied at people like Lahti and other who have not performed when they should have, which can be levied throughout the team. I would still like to see a young progressive and exciting Poole team in 2018 with Kurtz/Holder as well as Woryna and someone like F Jakobsen if possible. Add some good H/L strength and make it a team well worth watching. Hope M.Ford chooses wisely this time.

Bald Bloke
Credit to Kyle though for slowing the race up. Not to suggest anything untoward but the last two heats have kept it interesting for BT and may put a few more on the gate for the second leg. Realistically a Robins win by 16/20 in two weeks time. I think it will a fair bit closer than that Baz.

BWD got 6 from 4 rides riding at heat leader. Kyle got 8 from 5 rides riding from reserve. Im not saying BWD would have got 8 last night we will never know but the change of Newman for BWD 100% didnt win the meeting for Swindon. It was the shocking performance from another in the line of whinging Aussies If your going to make sweeping statements like that 2 point won Swindon the meeting you need to be able to back it up. The reason Poole scrapped into the top 4 was mainly due to Lahti in the last few matches including paid 13 away at Somerset. For Poole fans to then pick on him for last night is a tad uncalled for..............maybe he shouldnt have scored so well in the last few matches and Poole fans could have watched Rye House v Swindon last night Edited September 12, 2017 by Gavan

Lahti was largely the reason why we got in to the play offs but now he lets us down in the play offs.
BurntFaceMan
A dodgy track, no home advantage, an engine failure, a blind referee, Rosco pulling a fast one with a Poole track specialist for a race fit rider, no tactical ride available and Swindon won by a whopping... 2 points! Write off Poole at your peril. A team very capable over turning over Swindon at home if all firing together on a decent track. And the bonus Matt Ford will be offering them for a packed grand final at Wimborne road should give them that extra kick up the bum. Poole have nothing to lose, everything to gain and very capable. hyabb17
Brad rode at 3 last time out. A much tougher number than reserve & scored 6 + 1. At reserve he should be able to match that, if not better it. We will never know though. If Lathi scores a min of 3 which he should have been able to do you win. Poole had 10 last places which is why you lost the meeting. What a load of rubbish! BWD got 6 last time? Kyle got 8, you won by 2 so he did win them the meeting. thecoombdog
Gotta say how much Ellis has improved in last few weeks since riding at 2. I will be honest and say I thought he was just a gating tart but he has proved me wrong last few weeks. Even if he is at Poole next season you could still he was giving 100% last night to beat them. Hope he stays in 2018
