stevebrum
That's true but last season especially with our away form you could have said the same thing, I also think Wolves will be a completely different proposition at the NSS where we generally make things harder than they should be, Lindgren, Thorrsell, and Masters if hes fully recovered can do some serious damage at our place. Just have a feeling you could come through again, we have a habit of losing these play off things. Time will tell BVA Thats a very defeatest attitude. Thats why you never win anything. Priceless comment of the year. in Starmans eyes, think is a 4 letter word Yes they are quite right. But what have won before that? Priceless gift number 2. I guess you will be in double figures before the days out.
Grachan
Personally I think it will be Swindon. Don't think Kings Lynn were ever going to make top 4. Poole have struggled mainly due to KK but now with the team all pulling together we have made top 4 which I thought was pretty unlikely a few weeks ago mainly due to the return of Brady Kurtz and Lahti finding form, the worry is Starke and Jack Holder but you never know with a bit of luck it's possible. The main reason Swindon are where they are is because they replaced a rider who has generally struggled in the lower league and replaced him with a top rider along with Bellego who has exceeded most people's expectations. That, plus the drop in Adam Ellis' average and the guaranteed reduction of Jason Doyle's. People took the mickey out of Swindon for signing these two on the averages they had, but long term it worked in their favour. Not many banked on Musielak signing.
thecoombdog
Not many banked on Musielak signing. Definitely been a big part but i never thought Bellego, Morris or Zach could get anywhere near what they have averaged this year so thats been a major factor as well IMO

A ORLOV
Definitely been a big part but i never thought Bellego, Morris or Zach could get anywhere near what they have averaged this year so thats been a major factor as well IMO Agreed it is just a pity that both Zach and BWD are injured. BWD will hopefully be back for the 11th and with new engines so his bike issues should be behind him.

Morris been a disappointment in the 2 previous seasons and looked as though he needed a change. I wouldnt have had him back this year. I also said we would finish rock bottom with a record low points total so ive had a stinker this season!! Never been so glad to be wrong tho. SteveLyric2
Morris will be with Swindon as long as Rosco is there. He's part of the Rossiter family.

stevebrum
Swindon have been a breath of fresh air this year. Morris has really stepped up. Bellego has been the biggest surprise. However the signing of Musielak was a masterstroke and no one probably expected him to have kicked on so much. Zach has improved too. Changes made at the right time were key. Pretty much the same with Wolves making changes when they did. Plus of course the Aces saw an opportunity to bring in a better rider on a lower average (just like Wolves did with Woffy last year I guess!) that has given them more firepower.
Mattfordfan
Oh I'd actually lmao if we managed to win the playoffs. And you say you are not anti - Poole lol It tried telling me Batchelor got sacked from KL because he was injured earlier. HAHAHA.
Perton Wolf
Think Wolves will struggle to beat Belle Vue over 2 legs - Bjerre on his correct engine, Worrall, Tungate, Cook and Bewley all go well at Monmore. So I'm half hoping we end up with Poole but as with the playoffs every year, nothing is easy/guaranteed usually. Can't remember the last time we won at Poole so would still be a tough tie but a lot less tougher than Belle Vue.
Mattfordfan
Can you please tell me Lisa what i posted that was anti Poole. Ive included the post for you to look back over but just in case the bullet points are: Poole were hot favorites They had under performing riders like KK and Newman who have left and done well elsewhere. To come 4th when you were favorites isnt success. If Kings Lynn had have beaten Poole that night they would have gone 4th. As ive said it all starts level again Poole are the outsiders of the 4 teams Rosco and Adams in my opinion are better managers than Middlo You are confusing anti Poole stuff with facts. The only thing that could be classed in my post as anti Poole is the opinion on team managers. Everything i put in the post is factual......i get that you are disappointed with your season Here we go again (This manager is better than Middlo). Why don't you add Jim Lynch in there as well. Best to get it all out of your system in one go. Its not anti Poole in anyway apart from as i said i dont rate Middlo that much. You were never in any danger at all of relegation , that was never going to happen. You then met the right teams at the right times. Wolves at home when they missing Masters and Riss Belle Vue at home when they missing Fricke and Bjerre with a sick engine You then had easy meetings at home to Leicester and Lynn Away from home you got beat easily at Rye and then like the rest of the league won at Kings Lynn. Then at Somerset you met them when they were missing Heeps and a potent reserve in Allen and had an unfit Hougaard. But you can only beat whats in front of you and Poole had that bit of luck at the right time, coupled with the Kings Lynn walkout that gave Poole those 4 points which proved crucial Your beyond a joke at times. tellboy
Swindon have picked Poole then with Poole being at home first.Guess that leaves Belle Vue against Wolves then. Edited September 4, 2017 by tellboy

Mattfordfan
Think I must be the only Poole fan who thinks we haven't a hope against Swindon. Yep you are. Swindon aren't that good. Have faith. No pressure on us. All of the pressure is on Swindon.
chun
Think Swindon should have taken Wolves out in the semis and hoped Belle Vue did the same with Poole.
