Best I can do adding to No1 No3 with possibly Auty somewhere.

I reckon you've started drinking already

No no no to Auty, never going to improve and not reliable in the slightest even though he will have the odd good meeting and be entertaining.

Don't think Gino will ever be world champion but at least there is a chance he will get better. If he was number seven he looks better than anything else named or touted so far.

The men need to get Christmas shopping, planning the Christmas meals, decorating the tree, writing the Christmas cards etc etc, as well as doing days at work, they wouldn't have time to be unduly concerned then haha .......... must be Pick on the Blokes Day haha

Single, widowed or divorced men have to do all that  themselves, if they want a bit christmas nostalgia, especially those who don't have a family to spend Christmas Day  or Boxing Day with. Once KLS made it clear that they were doing it all after January - I fully accepted that and I am waiting patiently but having Bigged It Up my expectations of "undreamt of" are naturally high. Roll on 2018. Let's hop that Buster's Big Dream matches fan's expectations.

Clubs have been losing money and seem at be last to be realising that they have to live within their means if they are going to survive. They are reducing their costs but to suggest they could reduce admission to £10 shows how unrealistic some fans are. To survive and hopefully, make a profit, admission charges will have to stay as they are. Particularly, with the loss of the TV revenue.

The rider costs of a PL team is still going to be considerably more than that of a CL team. Many riders may operate in both leagues but a PL team has more of the better, more expensive riders because they are building to a significantly higher team building figure.

Manchester isn't one of the more affluent areas of the country and yet more fans pay £20 to sit in the Grandstand than £17 to stand on the south side. If admission costs and value for money we such an issue I would expect the reverse to be true.

Nothing seems to have worked to attract old and new fans to speedway a £10 admission could do just that surely it’s better to have more fans in the stadiums up and down the country maybe £10 is a but low but all I’m saying is why not try reducing admission my guess with increased numbers clubs would better off - look at KL last season cut cost dumping Holder and Batch replaced them with riders on lesser wage crowd fell away had they adjusted the admission price accordingly that may not have happened but they charged the same . I’m not saying cut the admission at the cost of clubs closing but let’s think outside the box a bit more that all I’m saying

The news from Robert Lambert is probably not what Stars fans wanted to hear just before Christmas. I wonder how far ahead Buster knew of this (if at all),  and whether it has thrown a spanner in team planning or not? I guess we shall just have to wait for Roberts statement in a couple of weeks, and all will be revealed.

Good luck to the boy wherever his future takes him.  Big Year coming up for him to see if he can make that jump to compete with the big boys.  Maybe last years World Team Cup opened his eyes to how far he has to travel to reach his goal.

Will certainly be missed at Saddlebow. I wonder what effect it will  have on the crowds at KL.  For me, he was the main attraction. A real big steel shoe to fill in terms of entertainment.

Over to you Buster. He has a big job after last season debacle and now losing his star attraction.

If true it's terrible news for Star's fans - including me. But it does read as if it might not be Robert's choice. Could it have been the KLS promotional team's decision?

If the rumours are true that the club lost money last season and if there is no tv cash costs have got to be cut or admission has to go up sadly

Depends if the sweeping changes at the club are actually that, if there is plenty to be revealed on that front then I'd suggest it won't be a waste of time.

Funnily enough I had a conversation earlier today about how it might well be obvious by then who the last two riders are going to be, hopefully though they will be two nice surprises.

Anybody that is interested in riding for Kings Lynn please apply to 999 Norfolk

Looks like being a battle of contracts between Zagar and Doyle for the number one jacket but will Thomas Jorgensen be second heat leader or can they convince someone else to join them ?

2018 looks like being a drawn out season for a few and certainly nothing new to attract more fans, but they are fine as things are ..... aren't they ?

Probably in the past, the riders assumed there was plenty of money to be earnt from the sport,  and rightly or wrongly  asked for the world, when signing contracts to race .   But it has become obvious to us all that this behaviour couldn't continue.  There was always going to a day of reckoning, and now we at seeing effects of that.

I have worried for some time that the sport cannot survive on its present course., and that massive restraints have to be in place just for survival alone.    If that means the end of the top riders, then so be it.   I just hope that the majority of riders realise the dire situation the sport is in, and doctor their costs accordingly.   They must realise the acute balancing of the books is crucial if the sport is to survive.

I hope riders like Lambert don't price himself out of reach,  in their belief of what they think their worth.   That would be a shame......

I first heard a whisper a week back, but didn't take too much notice.   I didn't want to believe it,  but it now appears to be true.     When thinking about the logistics of Lambert's situation ,  with him living locally,  and  only riding in the Sweden, and Polish 2nd division,  if he cant accommodate riding in the UK, then what chance do we have of appealing to anyone of quality.

Disappointed for sure, and I feel he is wrong to turn his back on his home track and fans.   He has a long way to go before he is anywhere near being a good No 1, so am surprised he's taken this decision to leave without conquering these shores.

Probably I was right in what I wrote  back then ........  and yes its a REAL SHAME.......     He has so much more to learn.....

I’ve heard a young Dane Kasper Andersen is in the frame for a team place . I’ve never heard of him to be honest

You really are a moron. I don’t understand what you have against Robert, any chance to slate him and you will.

Clearly there is a lot of disappointment that it looks like Lambert won't be returning to the Stars team for 2018.

For me it's a good thing, barely any improvement in 2017.

Started to show signs of being way above his station and his behaviour on social media kissing Holder's butt wasn't great reading.

The way I see it is he's looking to join the Pirates but Chapman is sticking firm on not allowing anyone to speak to his asset.

This situation may be why Ford has said he's having a few problems with signing a particular rider.

2+2 and all that.

Lambert may be local, may be loved by the locals but for me he's I'll be happy to see him leave.

Superstar status without the Superstar delivery isn't doing him any favours, certainly won't be missed by me.

Why's he a moron, because of a differing opinion to the norm?!?!?

The only morons are ones that can't understand differing opinions and put themselves above all others.

GWR and I have rarely agreed on much but not found it necessary for stupid name calling

Argue all day long if you don't agree but moron GWR isn't
