Kings Lynn 2018..

Doyle didn'rt get to be World Champion by taking notice of the likes of Holder and Batchelor. He is own man... and will do what he sees as right....

Will Jason Doyle be our number one now he has announced he will not be back at Swindon 🤔 lives local to us and one of his main sponsors poltec are a major Lynn sponsor too. Would help ease the pain from last season

id like to think you could be right but i biggest stumbling block is Buster sadly - Buster needs yes men not someone who questions him as Holder Batch and Schlien have found out to there cost .

Roscoe was in the press claiming he was unhappy that he had to get rid of either Doyle or Morris. In the next breath he is saying despite winning the League the club made a loss. I wonder which 2 riders were the biggest earners. Roscoe really does come out with em.

Will Buster really be prepared to pay World Champion rates to Doyle ? Unless Brundle has found a big sponsor to cover some of the cost.

I said this after the AGM so it will be interesting to see if thats the case.

Great signing if that is what really happens. But it is likely to bust the bank and I can't see Buster doing that with his own money. If a sponsor steps in it may be on. But wealthy sponsors are much rarer than fully satisfied fans nowadays. And they are rare enough. Needs a massive lottery win for Trees to pull it off.

The same chapman who wants to dilute the product and save cash will fork out for the WC, unlikely.

He is capable and experienced but not the rider he was and won't improve his average.

Even if it's by only half a point or so I just cant believe that THJ wouldn't improve on 4.64. The days of him turning into the rider he promised to be have long gone but he would surely be a decent reserve or solid second string.

As for Doyle, I can't see the money being there to sign him, however rather than wanting the product watered down surely any promoters who voted for the eight point rule did so so they had a better chance of securing a decent number one so therefore they will be in the market for any top riders made available?

I hope Jason is in the League with a club rather than lost for a year, but if he does ride at Lynn will he and Buster get on.

Unlikely, because if you have a different opinion on anything that matters, yours will be discounted. Sign him on a very good per point deal and let him be happy with the money ( as I am sure he will. if it's at the Swedish pay level at least )

I don't know if I'd be happy with Doyle. I wasn't a fan of holder long before "that night" . If Doyle is as self centred as holder then I would be skeptical.

I'd rather iversen any day but that's wishful thinking.

So strong number 7 suits me. Doyle has already been critical of buster in recent months after the holder/batchelor sacking. Buster says always how he won't bust the bank for any rider too. Iversen/thorsell or maybe a slight chance on Brady Kurtz because I wouldn't rule out Doyle going back to Poole . . Especially if there is a transfer fee too

If we did get him I hope it's not another false dawn.

I wouldn't think he would return to Poole, don't think him and Matt get on

Taking on board the facts from JC it would seem unpractical to employ any big earner, until such time when running speedway becomes more sustainable...

No way could anybody expect a company come on board to sponsor a rider when the sport its portrayed as bad as ours....
