MD
Really , Pijper looked a shadow of his former self during the recent clash with the Monarchs . And still beat Perry on a spluttering machine. We are talking about spending an additional 0.33 points as to where we are just now with Perry to have TP as a starting reserve. I doubt Pijper would have invested in equipment this year having had no team place.

MD
Summers got 17 at Newcastle last season , so his return last night was very disappointing . His season on the whole has been disappointing, was almost embarrassing at Ipswich three weeks ago how being so far behind the race leader their reserves were having a nip at him. Could be a vicious circle of not enough meetings, rusty from the gate, earning less money, cant get engines tuned as often and therefore confidence goes down. Who's machine are we talking about ? As Perry quite regularly has a spluttering machine . Pijper's. Dont get me started on Perry's EF's. George Stancl would be red faced by it. Dandelion
Really , Pijper looked a shadow of his former self during the recent clash with the Monarchs . Summers got 17 at Newcastle last season , so his return last night was very disappointing . Worrall is really the only heat leader that we can be confident about away from Ashfield , which is a worry with a return visit to Brough in the cup and probably Ipswich in the play offs . Bewley has become very inconsistent , understandable I suppose being so young and riding in three leagues , Lunna still falls off too much , and Perry's machinery never looks up to the job . I'd have Richie back in a heartbeat next year with maybe Rene Bach backing him up and the team structured after that to give us a potent reserve . Noooo, don't steal all the riders I want to see at Newcastle Richie, Rene, Theo, you'll be wanting Steve, Robbo, Ludvig and Rose next I thought he got them the same time as Robbo. I'm sure he wore them against Edinburgh when Robbo first appeared in his. Tho the following week he was back in his other suit, so whether it didn't fit comfortably or I'm mistaken I don't know. Can't find any photo's of the Edinburgh match to prove either way. Thought they would have been in the Peterborough prog but they were all from the Ipswich? match. As far as I'm aware, and I have been to all the home and some of the away meetings recently... I have never seen Alfie in a set of Newcastle kevlars for this year, although I may be wrong, and I am a lot of the time... Solidmango
Agree with all the posts regarding needing a solid reserve! Looking at the current averages there are some very attractive offerings and I wonder how many riders have one eye on not being frozen out for next year! But that was the only time as I said. I could just as easily be wrong. Cannot find proof either way.

I don't want to be responsible for your loss I'm sure, because Edinburgh was Robbo's debut, was it not, that Alfie didn't have kevlars, because I posted "Alfie must feel great, he waits for his kevlars for weeks, and Robbo gets his straight away" So I don't think he had them, according to me and a few others on the night after the meeting

Jut a guess.

Jut a guess. Yeah, that would make sense, I'm not having a go that Robson got his first, it was just a joke more than anything... I remember Paul Starke riding for us in 2012 maybe... I don't remember exactly... He didn't get a race suit at all... Robbo's debut was at Sheffield. Lewis got injured at Edinburgh, so Robbo couldn't have made his debut then!! Yes yes, true, maybe I should have said home debut... And I meant Edinburgh at home On July 30th!! Not away, I know Robson didn't ride for us then
