Weeyin
I am sure you would but for me he has to be the first name down for next season. He is by a distance our most consistent performer then follow him up with Dan & Nike and build round those 3. I agree Ritchie Dan and Nike should be our 3 to start with next season

ruffdiamond
All 7 of the diamonds deserve praise for last night, even the two reserves, Alfie is really impressing me lately and if he continued, I'd invite him back as our lone 2.00 rider at reserve next year... do you think Alfie has earned his new kevlars ?

But I'd love to see him at Brough with his brother... do you think Alfie has earned his new kevlars ? For sure, I was going to mention when is he getting his new kevlars, but I didn't want that to sound like a dig at the club...
MD
I agree Ritchie Dan and Nike should be our 3 to start with next season A somewhat competent reserve would be good. Kept wondering how we managed last year but it was Ayres and Garcia who are much better than we have now. Looking at the new averages Pijper is on an attractive 4.23 whilst Perry is 3.90. Know which id rather have next year. With away form as we have seen recently AS average is only heading in one direction.
andys
Great performance from the whole team, but a special mention to a young and upcoming rider who with a bit of guidance will definitely make it step forward stuart Robson, but he needs to be Careful that he doesn't get labeled a gating tart.

I've always liked him, and his average is as low as ever!!

Gazc
Theo will be a shoe in at Edinburgh next season on that average they would be mad not to. If it were a choice between Clegg and Theo I know what I would have.

balderdash&piffle
Trouble is for Glasgow, paying top dollar for mediocre riders, makes them all think they are worth it. The Championship needs a pay scale adhered too by every club, with no doubling up, by allowing it spoils the sport for every other club If a rider needs to double up Premiership on a Monday in the UK, Sweden on a Thursday and Poland on a Sunday Edited August 21, 2017 by balderdash&piffle
Fromafar
It's blatantly obvious the riders are taking more money out the sport than is being generated by gate receipts ,and the sport is being heavily subsidised by individuals with money and Sponsers, trouble is these people soon get fed up when things are not going right and disappear .Interesting to see how many Teams start pleading they are in trouble this closed season.Crowd levels are certainly down at a lot of clubs this season.IMO. Did well for us in 2011 after a shaky start that included a short spell at reserve.

People just come to the assumption that we pay top dollar when in reality they haven't a clue what we are paying ,this is a very personal thing between employer and employee and should never be discussed in a public forum regardless if they haven't got a clue what we pay.

Two Brits rule hence he has been difficult to replace this season. In years gone by he wouldnt have been considered again by Edinburgh after going to the Wolves party the same night as Edinburgh had a fixture at the end of last season.

I'm sure he wore them against Edinburgh when Robbo first appeared in his. Tho the following week he was back in his other suit, so whether it didn't fit comfortably or I'm mistaken I don't know. Can't find any photo's of the Edinburgh match to prove either way. Thought they would have been in the Peterborough prog but they were all from the Ipswich? match. Really , Pijper looked a shadow of his former self during the recent clash with the Monarchs . Summers got 17 at Newcastle last season , so his return last night was very disappointing . Worrall is really the only heat leader that we can be confident about away from Ashfield , which is a worry with a return visit to Brough in the cup and probably Ipswich in the play offs . Bewley has become very inconsistent , understandable I suppose being so young and riding in three leagues , Lunna still falls off too much , and Perry's machinery never looks up to the job . I'd have Richie back in a heartbeat next year with maybe Rene Bach backing him up and the team structured after that to give us a potent reserve .
