Super Blue
After a week off at home and an away victory at Scunny at the weekend Workington are the visitors to Foxhall on Thursday for the 2nd time this season. Personally I don't see anything but a home victory but I said that when Edinburgh came to town. Cookie was not at his best last time around and hasn't really been in the best of form since the World Cup so he'll probably have a blinder. Will the others come to the party, who will be the Worky no7 and will Sarj break the tapes again as he did to order previously? Time will tell. I certainly think that the Witches should get the 3 puts and consolidate our playoff position. Over to you.
TheScotsman
Despite the attraction of seeing Cookie wiping the floor with Danking et al, I am going to give this one a miss as part of my one man protest at the management approaches of the East Anglian clubs (and the utter ineptitude of the BSPA). Bezza
Did I hear somewhere Cookie was not riding as he will be on his way to Russia for the GP Challenge?
TheScotsman
Stroll in the park for Ippo even if Cookie does ride - gallop in the park if someone else is in his place.
spanner47
Practice not until Saturday at midday, so it all depends if he can be bothered or not. I said before that I'll watch each team once unless they entertain me, the previous meeting was easily the best of the season, but I'll be at LHR waiting for my flight to Togliatti. I'm sure the lads will get another easy win.

Fromafar
Top man Sedgy.Complaining about long term shoulder injury but riding so as not to let Team mates down,Perhaps he should be turning down guest bookings for other Teams if that is the case.

Baldyman
I've only plans to go to one more speedway meeting, which happens to be at worky on Saturday. After that, I don't have a clue when I will be going again.

screm
Did I hear somewhere Cookie was not riding as he will be on his way to Russia for the GP Challenge? Correct, Chris Harris comes into guest.
Baldyman
Oh wow, that more or less guarantees 5 good races. Anyone know who is the guest on sat at worky??
TheScotsman
Correct, Chris Harris comes into guest. Sums up speedway today - so Harris of Peterborough rides for Ippo against Worky on Thursday and then for Edinburgh against Ippo on Friday after riding for Peterborough against Edinburgh last Friday. The handcart has lost its wheels. Now if only he could guest for Worky against Ippo on Saturday!! (Well Rye don't have a meeting so who knows!!) Near perfect symmetry!!
