waytogo28
No Not only is it super windy now, heavy showers are forecast for mid afternoon. Doesn't look likely to be on or to be a positive racing end to such an miserable season ( to quote Buster's own words ).

So will tonight's meeting go ahead ? It's blowing well at the moment, but the forecasts i have looked at are all saying the wind will decrease as the day goes on.It will still be breezy but nothing like it is now, well that's according to the forecasts of course. Ben91
How does the wind compare to the wind when this was originally called off?
Star Lady
At present much stronger but is forecast to ease a bit later

Starboy118
Why not go to the meeting, pay your money, wait patiently for it to be called off and then go home?
Rayleigh
The rain today is probably heavier than the "rain off" earlier this season and it is more windier than the "wind off" earlier this season and he will probably still run the meeting, sometimes you really do get what you deserve in this life. waytogo28
Why not go to the meeting, pay your money, wait patiently for it to be called off and then go home? You will then eventually get a refund through the post, if Nathan is not having the winter off. How does the wind compare to the wind when this was originally called off? That was also all over - as this is by noon. It's the forecast rain that might now trip up the meeting.
Mimmo
Sorry folks !! Hoping this will be rained off and moved to next week so we can be there. I'm not, as I can't be there next week!!
Popular Post westhamboy66
To be fair I was at both rain offs and both times the rain came within 15 mins of start time and both times was far too heavy for the damage to be rectified. As a Rye House fan of many years I say Kings Lynn have been a decent club with a better than average race track and normally a pretty good team. I'll not knock the Club as I don't like to see any club go through the mill. Easy to kick em when they're down. As for tonight and the refund it's exactly what I thought it would be seems fair. On track I hope we do them big style but I still hope that next season they come back strong.
Star Lady
Weather news  2 miles from track - following gale force winds overnight which have now eased to rather blowy, the sun has been shining and we have had blue skies. In the last ten minutes we have had a moderately heavy shower but the sun is now attempting to make another appearance.  I'm making absolutely no predictions just saying what I see

foreverblue
Still no word from the club on what to do with ran off tickets for those who couldn't attend tonight. You may be didn't see my earlier post, i emailed them, someone called Nathan Hollands emailed back and told me to send tickets with a name and address or bank details and they will send a refund.
