Poole Vs Wolves 16/8/17

Recommended Posts

At least Brady hit a bit of form for Rybnik yesterday. Being race-fit will help.

James and Eddie's success on the European Grasstrack should at least not have a negative effect on their form.

Hopefully our reserves can do well, but I still reckon an away win by 4 points or so!!

With Matt probably giving them all a ear bashing, think the Pirates will be up for this, and can't see it being third time lucky for Wolves at Wimborne Rd this season.

all I can say this could be the 5 ear bashing they have had and it hasn't worked yet on form comfortable win for wolves !!!

A Poole win because:-

1. All runs good or bad have to come to an end sometime.

2. Wolves record at Poole is poor.

3. We have weak reserves.

4. R/R for Masters weakens us.

5. With R/R you are reliant on you on your top 4 all riding well, and Schlein isn't.

Happy to be wrong though.

And having to ride on a "horror" track every week, does us no favours when we have to go to a proper one..........Oh hang on.

Could be close, only one team has won away fewer times than wolves

There's an alarming stat! Four near-misses, claiming a point on each occasion, but you're right.

As far as the match goes, I'm with Beowulf. Given Poole's record, it really should be an away win but it's all too easy to mount a convincing argument against that happening.

Poole should win this but how many times have we said that this season!

Wolves record at Poole is poor

Masters missing means r/r weakens Wolves.

Brady had a maximum last time but admittedly Lindgren was missing.

Starke is in for Bates so that strengthens Poole in reserve, i would expect the 2 Poole reserves to get 15 between then.

Poole to win this by 7.

Then we wait for the reports it was against the odds......which it wont be lol

Well we can't do what Gavan does and look at the previous meeting between these two at Poole as both teams line up a bit different. Poole had Zengota, Kyle and Bates then, and Wolves had Riss and Josh G for FL.

You can always look at the last meeting as a guide.

Look who rode last time and who replaces them..simple

Last time Poole 46, Wolves 44

Zengota, Newman and Bates scored 9 between them

Will Kennett, Lahti and Starke score more than 9?................I would say yes, probably nearer to 16.

Josh G, Riss and Masters got 15 between them

Will Lindgren , Perks and RR get more than 15? I would say yes maybe 20

So looking at them changes alone Poole will be 4 points better off, thus winning by 6 not 2.

I know the sport doesnt work like that but its about opinion............so as ive said in my earlier post Poole by 7
