waiheke1
Hancock pedersen vaculik lebedevs would be my picks. If not lebedevs then puk or milik. Madden has had a great league season, but mediocre in SEC. possibly he has been the best Danish rider this season, but Puk and pedersen whose seasons were curtailed bybinjury have much stronger claims for the wildcard. martinmauger
Hancock, Pedersen, Lebedevs / Milik would be my picks. We'll soon know who guessed right...
Barrow Boy 2
They usually pick the 9th & 10th riders so that brings in Vaculik & Holder. I would also invite Hancock to return if he is able and willing to continue because he scored 45 points from 6 GPs which equates to 90 if he had ridden in all 12 which is more than Holder. My 4th wild card would then be Lebedevs.
screm
Hancock, Pedersen, Lebedevs / Milik would be my picks. We'll soon know who guessed right... It would be great to see Pedersen back in SGP as the guy is box office, but is he really deserving of a pick as in the only two GP`s he competed in his results were poor and it looked unlikely he would be anywhere near the top eight at that time. Pedersen`s pick should go to Millik IMO.
naffer
Vaculik Hancock Iversen Milik Most deserving quartet probably holder will get last spot though.

SCB
Going back to Holder, its claimed (rightly) 9th and 10th almost always get a wildcard but lets not forget than Hancock, Pedersen and Iversen missed rounds and at least Hancock would have finished ahead of Holder so in reality he was 11th best rider in this seasons GPs, possible 13th in Iversen and Pedersen has been even slightly better than crap which isnt impossible. Afraid hes ruled out for me. Hancock, Vaculik, Milík and one of Pedersen or Iversen, Iversen probably the better rider, Nicki more likely to do something silly and entertain us. The loser of Pedersen/Iversen as first reserve, followed by Lebdevs and Fricke Edited October 29, 2017 by SCB
TheReturn
Holder being given a wildcard would be a travesty. His GP form was average at best this season, poor in fact. Last night he looked totally disinterested.

The loser of Pedersen/Iversen as first reserve, followed by Lebdevs and Fricke Due to injuries. it could be claimed that Holder has finished 10th out of 12, rather than 10th out of 15. And a poor tenth as well - nowhere near the eighth-placed rider. It would be very disappointing if Holder was awarded a wildcard ahead of Vaculik. PolskiZuzel
Winning the national title doesnt make you the best rider in that nation in-fact it doesnt really have any meaning at all I disagree...would you say the same thing about the world title. In my opinion winning the national title means that a particular rider was the best rider on the day (out of 15 others) The same was possible to say when we had one day world final.
NickRushbrook
Holder absolutely does not warrant a card for next season. The selection process loses all credibility if he does and should be made to explain their decision. Hancock on the other hand deserves the chance to at least try and regain his title. In short, Hancock, Vaculic, Lebedevs, Milik for me.

norbold
I said earlier on that I thought Holder was nailed on to get a pick due to the politics of the whole thing. However, I think that last night did for him. After such a poor GP in his own country after a mediocre season anyway it would be very difficult to justify his inclusion next year. phillipsr
TRY telling NKI that... So Craig Cook is Britains best rider?? Whoever is current American National Champ is better than Hancock? Masters, Sedgemen and Watf are better than Doyle and Holder..
NickRushbrook
if you choose Hancock then got to be pedersen too , they both in same boat , its either both or niether Not sure I agree. Greg has been there or thereabouts for years. Nicki has been off the championship pace since 2012 I think.

Nicki has been off the championship pace since 2012 I think.Nicki finished third in the series in both 2014 and 2015. Pretty harsh to say that's off of Championship pace.
THE DEAN MACHINE
AND Greg was the defending champion this yearnot saying Greg shouldnt be picked just that he and nicki are the same mold , if the picks are thinking of money then nicki will get the nod over Greg
Col
In short, Hancock, Vaculic, Lebedevs, Milik for me. I agree but there will be a Dane. Unless Hancock retires one of Milik, Lebedevs & Vaculic will sadly miss out. if you choose Hancock then got to be pedersen too , they both in same boat , its either both or niether How? Hancock was World Champion in 2016, Pedersen finished where? He was also totally out of his depth in the few GPs he rode this year.
