Wolfsbane
Somerset web site confirms no Lindgren in the second leg of the semi. Plus prospects of more guests and r/r Why do they agree these dates??? When do Lindgren / Masters / Doyle / Fricke etc head off to Melbourne??? Do we have the prospect of a Cup Final full of guests and r/r as well? And to top it all off this from the OS. No mention of 'I won't be at Somerset'. A bit of honesty with the fans wouldn't go amiss. http://www.wolverhamptonwolves.co/news.php?extend.2811 Edited September 14, 2017 by Wolfsbane
Perton Wolf
A joke of a statement from Somerset. Shouldn't they be doing all they can to ensure that GP riders like Lindgren are available? Surely it would boost the attendance. They seemed to want us to get on with it and use a 4 pointer instead - hardly seems fair! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10155522952605540&id=206553905539 Not hard to see why the number of Guests and R/R's has been such a farce this year. Fixed race nights can't come sooner. Edited September 14, 2017 by Perton Wolf
Hasbeen
Championship playoff semi final 2nd leg between Edinburgh and Ipswich takes place on Friday September 22nd potentially involving Mark Riss, Sam Masters, Rory Schlein and Nathan Greaves. bigcatdiary
Ipswich suggest all four will be at Edinburgh as play offs take seniority over KOC
Perton Wolf
What are the hell are Edinburgh and Ipswich playing at? Farcical scheduling. Championship ties shouldn't be allowed to take preference over any higher division competition either.
Lefty
So is it Kyle Howarth on his own for Wolves with five guests & rider/rep at Somerset this Friday. Do we have a guest team manager as well or is PA not doing Stockholm??? More deckchairs for the BSPA Titanic please ...

spanner47
What are the hell are Edinburgh and Ipswich playing at? Farcical scheduling. Championship ties shouldn't be allowed to take preference over any higher division competition either. Why the hell did the 1st Division decide to have a KO cup this season? They haven't had one for the past few seasons, the 2nd Division supporters have been moaning for years about having the final earlier in the season, the 1st Division clubs must have realised this was going to happen. But this is Speedway so as usual nobody does anything about anything and every season ends up in a mess. The sport need a fixture coordinator with total power to force teams to ride, until this happens this crap will continue.
foreverblue
? So build a team of assets and then a team with no money left, after they spent it on a gp superstar and a polish has been, comes along and says 'I'll have that one, that one and that one' and you expect the magpie team to have first use when there's a fixture clash? I wonder if wolves will bother with the temporary not so grandstand again given that they went to all that expense for last year's cup final and didn't even fill it, ha ha! No wonder Adams is moaning about crap support. No idea where the crap support comes I heard their last meeting was full and fans were being turned away. foreverblue
You have no idea? What a surprise, lol! Well Adams didn't actually use the term 'crap support' when he was moaning about wolves crap support on the radio. Fans turned away, ha ha, you're funny! Well it's always a good idea to encourage support, thanks for the intellectual comment!
Rob B
The KO Cup is in this mess because it took Wolves & Kings Lynn so long to ride their quarter final when all the other teams did it at the start of the year. Then so long for the semi's to be arranged. Semi's should have been done in August at latest

CB252
He'll be in Sweden. The UK has a good relationship with the Swedes and won't make a fuss over Thorssell missing a KOC match.

Now confirmed, it will be r/r for Jacob, weather not looking too good though, accuweather gives heavy rain for 8pm but BBC weather gives light rain from 9pm til midnight.
