if there wasn't, there wouldn't be any point in carrying on !!!,,, have you still got your David Essex LP ? ;)

I though had loaned it to you, and you kept it. Along with my Frankie Vaughan Greatest Hits.

Where did I say he should be fined? I can't remember that!

Sorry, I'm getting banned and fined mixed up!! But you still said that, but I'm not sure how serious your comment was now I look back at it

Ban Holder for taking the mickey, ban Rutherford for being hopelessly substandard but please do something to make this sport worth watching again.

I agree with the Holder comment though... Both Holders...

Change of tact Glasgow have been waiting since April to race Newcastle or Workington in the K O C Q.F that's worse than J Holder missing 1 league match with permission whats the teams excuse going on 5 months for the fixture and still not arranged

It will be October now I would imagine . Going to be a busy end to the season as we've missed too many weekends during the summer for various reasons .

Not really. Glasgow haven't had many free dates either. Besides the winner races either Scunthorpe or Peterborough and their 2nd leg isn't until 22 september.

I think it's been agreed that League fixtures take priority because of (the supposed) televised promotion/ relegation match, which is already in the calendar.

Glasgow can race any night i would think as they own the Stadium, its teams refusal to come to Glasgow as riders would be missing is the problem. We have a Wed,Thurs,Sat and Sunday meetings in September

There lies the problem with British speedway . We're at Newcastle on Sunday and they are at Ashfield a week on Saturday . I know double headers are problematic and to be avoided if possible , but in this case surely it would make sense to have double headers , league and cup , on these two evenings .

Maybe, but does there planning permission allow them to run more than once a week. Just asking. Somerset own there own stadium but can still only run one meeting a week.

Can race as many nights no restrictions apart from the 10pm curfew.

Although from a good neighbour point of view this

Would be unlikely to happen.
