Belle Vue V Kings Lynn Stars 11-08-2017

Recommended Posts

Had hoped to go to this meeting, but unfortunately I have to be else where. As with all meetings at NSN this should be exciting racing. Don't expect we will get much change but hope we put up a decent fight. No doubt a big learning curve for some....

Good god all legit reasons injuries etc (Cookie seems in a bad place at the moment ?)deserved sackings etc(where's Lambert ?).But even as a season ticket holder and the meeting already paid for and not missed a home meeting for far to many years for me to remember I am considering giving this one a miss.Just hopeing that the guests for Belle vue are riders I like to watch and inspire me to turn up.

Looking on the bright side I will be able to leave home a little later as parking wont be a problem with this line up.

Having had a rethink with a cooler head. Not many riders will score what Cookie can round Belle vue.No replacement can score what Tungate can on his low average, and no Cook or tungate to take Frickes r/r rides.King,Toft and Huckenback score well round Belle vue it could end up a real close match there is a good chance we will get our asses kicked so as usual I will be there.

I suppose that depends on where the meeting is, what time it starts and what time riders have to sign in.

Anyone know the answers

Yes of course ;) It`s at Divisov Czech rep- which is approx. 65km from Prague airport - It is the European u19 cup

meeting starts 2.15pm local time- however practice is 10.15am local time.

So no- no way can he get there for practice by leaving Saturday am.

That's fair enough 👍👍 thanks

Makes it easier for us anyway

The one thing that isn`t clear in the rule book(surprise surprise)is whether Lynn should get a facility for the FIM Europe u19 Cup - they can for the U21 championship- so I suppose it can follow that 19 is under 21 so it`s ok !!!!. Whatever- Belle Vue will win so their fans deserve to see a competitive as possible lynn team.

Cam Heeps guests for Tungate, not seen a great deal of him racing. Know Jake Allen was originally booked to guest before his injury & looked good in Rebels win at BV, is Heeps a decent choice?

On a "going night " he is !!!!

Thanks R&R, let's hope from an Aces angle he has a going night tonight! With Smithy only likely to contribute a couple of points, an iffy night from Heeps would put big pressure on Bewley to contribute double figures - a big ask at this stage of his development.

Throw in the possibility of a wet track, could be a potential banana skin this one for us - happy to be proved wrong though!

According to the Met Office there's a 50% chance of light rain from 16.00-22.00 so it depends, there's just as much chance it will miss the track. With no rain forecast until then the track will be able to cope with a fair amount providing it doesn't affect rider's vision too much.

Heavy rain band moving north. Manchester will get the edge of it, which is only light. However a change in wind direction and we could well get the thick end of it.

Looking at the maps I think it will either stay dry, or the heavens will open.
