False dawn
So the secret weapon at reserve worked then? Hang on. But Leicester won. Must have been a different secret weapon. (Coventry loanee).

Rayleigh
Bang on shadders At Poole Barker and Wells scored 19+1, At Leicester Jonasson and r/r scored 9 Sounds like we may have been robbed in Ht 15 but lets not spend 20 pages on the forum navel gazing, congratulate Leicester for fighting to get in the position of taking advantage of some luck (heat 10 at Poole 17 - 43). still think we are favourites for 4th although rider availability will paly a major part in the final positions. arnieg
Bare in mind Lions Guests Schlein and Heeps didn't score many either. The heat 15 decision was a 50/50 call and with another ref it could easily have gone the other way. Robbo's superb form compensated for KK's indifferent display. Gemini
Tinted visor works for me on the road bike.Seems simple.I must be missing something Yes we must all be missing something as there weren't sun breaks years ago. It's all very well thanking us for our patience ~ heat 2 started at 8.15 ~ but a lot of us weren't and there was a considerable amount of moaning going on and it wasn't all from me. Not only is the match delayed so we are left watching endless laps by the tractor and listening to some boring waffle but it affects being able to watch the youngsters in the second half as well because by the time the match analysis is over those in the shopping centre car park are worried about exceeding the 4 hour limit so have to leave. A couple near me even had to miss the last two heats of the match as they had to catch the last bus home. Anyway, well done to the Lions on their win, which came as something of a surprise after seeing Rye House's score at Poole. Robbo was brilliant, KK not the powerhouse I thought he'd be at reserve and Bomber made a couple of costly mistakes. When was the last time he was excluded twice in a match? Racing not as good as it has been and heat 15 turned into a bit of an anti-climax after Chris was excluded.

OldRacer
Looks like a decent meeting and it's good to see Leicester competitive, even with a number of guests on both sides. BTs loss was definitely Rye's gain. Glad to see Scotty going well.
Big Al
But lots of fans are still going so it can't be much of a farce. I don't mean Leicester specifically but this Premiership league thing. May as well stay home and watch the lottery because that's what this league is now!! rocket007
One question. With Robson on 11 points and going well, and Harris on only 6, why wasn't Robson given heat 15?
JamesM09
It was a meeting that could have gone either way, unfortunately for us it went against us. Rockets made far too many mistakes when in point scoring positions. The exclusion on Harris in Heat 15 looked very harsh! Scott Nicholls was quality (Best performance so far this season) One question. With Robson on 11 points and going well, and Harris on only 6, why wasn't Robson given heat 15? Robbo looked to be going backwards in his last 2 heats . Harris looked good in the 5-1 with Nicholls in heat 13. That's what I'm guessing the thought process was.

Maybe Robbo begins to feel fatigued towards the end of meetings. He's no spring chicken

Probably the correct conclusion as Chris and Scott in heat 15 looked a pretty formidable pairing and knowing his last heat appearances for the Bees he can usually be relied on. Just a shame it all went wrong, although I was too far away to see what exactly happened when he fell.

These were mistakes as well which nearly cost Lions the match!!

Just a shame it all went wrong, although I was too far away to see what exactly happened when he fell. The incident was right in front of me, felt bomber tried just a little too hard, definitely carried too much speed into turn 3. No other choice I feel other than for the ref to exclude him. Good last few heats made up for pretty pedestrian racing in the first half of the meeting anyways. A good win for a sort of Lions team! Rayleigh
KK seems back to normal. Oh you lot are bitter, the booing on Thursday was in complete contrast to the warm applause Kennett got at Rye House when he returned with Swindon (and with his 3 point away average for a no 1 probably deserved a different reaction). Even allowing for Kasprzaks score last night we are delighted to have him, 5 away points in 72 hours is just fine and a great improvement on the rest of this season. When Kasprzak made a clear gate in heat 6, with Nicholls behind him, he was fine, completely confident. However when Lions riders' were close enough to dive under him, you could see him back right off, not wanting to race. Strange one because I've seen him be dominant around Beaumont Park. Sure he'll make enough gates for you to score plenty though.
LagutaRacingFan
So Pawel is riding in Poland today but couldn't ride in the UK yesterday? Surely Rye House should put in a protest? Leicester are cheats.
Rayleigh
So Pawel is riding in Poland today but couldn't ride in the UK yesterday? Surely Rye House should put in a protest? Leicester are cheats. He rode and won 3 heats last sunday as well. No wish for any protests from last night, we lost move on. But the commitment to British Speedway must be resolved next season, I understand the pay in Poland is sometimes 10 times that of British Speedway but if you wish to ride here YOU MUST DO, if you can earn more elsewhere good luck but don't use us for pocket money, bike and fitness testing.
