Bt Sport Coverage

BT dont capture the live event feel , the were times last night when there was no background noise at all, you wouldnt know there was a crowd there if they didnt show them, you can make a poor meeting captive viewing if you can capture the atmosphere, I kept thinking of the saying last night ,I guess you had to be there

Spot on Dean.

The camera angles they use are awful as well.

The Wolves meeting looked awful on TV but at the track it came across as a decent meeting, albeit with some rider errors mainly from Tungate, entirely as predicted.

Was that before or after his stint at Blunsdon? If you call that a good job, when he repeatedly gets the score, and the potential outcome of an important meeting, wrong . . . . .

I know it's not an easy job, but he's had years of practice and there can be no excuse for last night's performance

Along with Hans Andersen, he should be on a warning

It could easily have been much much worse. The potential for meltdown was there. He managed to avoid it, so for me it was good, relative to what could have happened.

In any case its Friday night - Nigel and Kelvin will be out on the p!!$ somewhere!! lol

I think we are lucky to have live speedway on TV.

Decent coverage/team from BT Sport since they picked up the coverage this season.

Hopefully they will be taking up the coverage next season too and if we do go to fixed race nights as rumoured, it would be good if they were to show one live meeting every week on the Monday. Doesn't clash with any major sports like football etc.

And the BSPA should be looking to secure the coverage deal early on this Winter and try to see if there's any interest abroad such as Poland. I'm guessing not but they should be trying.

I assume Sky won't be interested again, even if the league does expand in terms of teams with Lakeside coming up and maybe somebody like Ipswich from the Championship?

Why not Poland- the Elite league and now Premiership has been shown live on Polish TV for several seasons.

Even this season? Considering the fact that there was no coverage even in the UK until June or so!

Sweden, Denmark, Germany and maybe even Australia are potential other markets?

Side on only for the first 2-3 metres then front on. You need to capture the elbows, kicks and bites(!) on the first bend!

Elbows kicks and bites. As i said, we are lucky to have speedway on the TV.
