SteveLyric2
So if the Polish Extraleague do bring in their rumoured 'only one other league' ruling for 2018 that will mean the likes of Jack Holder may have to consider which British league he rides in - and for that matter whether he agrees to ride for Torun who look odds on to be relegated!! Jack says he wants to race for the Panthers again next season, so presumably Peterborough will be changing their race day to accommodate him??! ;-) Edited August 6, 2017 by Skidder1

Is he anything to do with that other chap who got into a bit of trouble recently? Edited August 6, 2017 by Starboy118
Gemini
Does anyone really think Jack will repeat his first match score? Total flash in the pan and will be doing 2's and 3's from now on. Hopefully. That's hopefully flash in the pan. Popular Post Star Lady
It's not the fact that he missed the fours that has annoyed me so much as the fact that his promoter has said he will give him his blessing to miss the trips to Newcastle and Scunthorpe. If Holder doesn't ride in them he should quite rightly get a ban promoters permission or not. That's sticking up two fingers to the fans, riders and officials of those two clubs, not to mention any travelling Panthers fans. If that's Rathbones attitude towards fans and fellow promoters I have two words for him Foxtrot Oscar.
Warriors
As I have said before they only come here co's it's easier to get a visa, so they hone there trade here till they get better, then suddenly the grass is greener, why don't they apply for a visa to go & ride in Europe straight away, because they wouldn't get one.
LisaColette
In this instance, Holder didn't prioritise Torun and Poland. He told Torun that he would ride but only if the Panthers agreed to release him. Is it Peterborough's fault that a Polish club has silly money to throw around? Yes poor old Peterborough, might get my violin out...

LagutaRacingFan
Flash in the pan again today, only 10 this time Actually 5+1, Poole's twitter got the Holder's mixed up. 5+1 against the field he was riding against is really impressive. Cook would have definitely scored 0.
Starman2006
I can see British promoters taking a bung every time there is a fixture clash like this, hope Peterborough get fined. You can see, but you'll never prove.

You English fans should count yourself lucky you got to watch such a great talent , and you can lay claim to helping him on his way to the top. LagutaRacingFan
Except that they lost at home and Zagar actually got double his score. Are you really comparing Jack Holder to Matej Zagar? Was Zagar riding in the top Polish league at 21?

superguest
Which should have also resulted in a ban. Nothing much has been said over this. Think the BSPA need to stop giving facilities for riders riding in Poland over their original fixtures. May hurt my team more but rather we employed British based riders if thats the case.
g13webb
I honestly don't see the issue here. Peterborough had a choice and decided it would be best for the club to sanction the request, no doubt wanting to keep Jack Holder happy to ride for the Panthers. I see don't it as a problem. We cannot compete with the Polish money and any confrontation will always result in the British Club losing out. Please to see Jack was up-front about the whole situation. I must say I really rate this guy, who is far more sensible than his years. Just hope, as he get older, he don't become another winger like so many other Aussies .......

OveFundinFan
So its happening again, young Aussie comes over to Uk with a freshly issued visa, gets good apprenticeship, uses that time well, then hops off to somewhere else. This is different to years gone by, where Aussies came over to make their WHOLE career based in the UK. UK needs clauses in contracts that state UK has first choice, and make this a condition of riding over here in the first place.

So you would be quite happy see the farce that happened at Leicester on Saturday happen so many more times again.I know this wasn't the reason Saturday, but it could quite easily be if you are happy to have the riders go to Poland on a whim.
