Mattfordfan
This season has been an utter joke. How can you have a meeting when one team is missing 5 of their 7 riders? PATHETIC!
Happy Hunter
Been some heavy thundery rain three miles from the track in the last hour. Having looked at the line ups I should think the Lion's promotion will be desperate to get the match on!
arnieg
Assuming PL x 1.25 for Huckenbeck this team lines up with a 40.71 combined CL GSA. That is below 8 of the 10 CL teams, only Berwick (39.88) and Scunny (39.95) are lower, so with home advantage you would have to fancy Berwick and Scunny to win at home against that side Edited August 5, 2017 by arnieg
mikebv
Hope the foot pump they use for the Bouncy Castle is an official FIM/BSPA homologated one... Maybe even one designed by an ex World Champion Bouncy Castler....😂
Arthur54
It's the sort of guests you have to expect on a Saturday fixture. The better riders ain't interested in guest booking's for weekend fixtures I'm sure holder and Batchelor would guest
CB252
I'm sure holder and Batchelor would guest Jack Thomas will give it more of a go than that pair of to$$ers.

waytogo28
The MDL are seeking teams for 2018. KL Must be capable of fielding a competitive side in that.
Needofspeed
My 2 year old would give more effort than them two would. We don't need a competitive team. Just riders that want to ride. Holder never let us down, come to think of it, Batchelor didn't either when he rode for us, being happy and looked after is the key, if the rumours are right, Lambert will be on his way to Poole next season
CB252
Lambert will be on his way to Poole next season Christ, poor old Middlo. Probably having to put up with Holder and mummy's little soldier next year. Still, he's grimaced his way through Andersen being in the side for two years, so it'll probably be like a breath of fresh air to him.
Needofspeed
That may well be true, but both have let us down this season and got what they deserved. As for Robert can't see that happening rumours have been there for the passed few seasons he would loose at least one big sponsor if he did. Plus he hates the place

Star Fever
This 'sport' gets more unbelievable every day. How the hell can this be an official fixture with so many riders missing on both sides? Leicester must be really desperate to win if they insisted this meeting goes ahead - Lynn being the weakest ofc, This should have been called off as soon ss it was evident so many riders were nissing. Buster I assume has the power to have sanctioned that but I suppose there'd be cries of favouritism then. Its all so pathetic As Trees says lets all hope it buckets down and this travesty of a match is off (for the benefit of speedway!! Barrow Boy 2
Did Grajonek miss the Sheffield match at Edinbra last night? Also had to pull out from guesting for Leicester earlier this week? Bjerre probably well short of fitness as well. This one could be close. Grajczonek was riding for his parent club Somerset.
mikec
Bewley rode well for BV when we were down there earlier this season, probably hadn't previously raced there much if at all. Has clearly improved too since then. He'll give it 100% for the Stars for sure. He'll also appreciate the extra laps there ready for the Aces next trip there on Aug 19 & for his assault on the NLRC Leicester are staging. whippy
Was hoping weather would call a halt to this meeting as we are unable to get across from Lincs to see the 'STARS' !! Surprised this is actually allowed to go ahead without most of the KLS team
