scottyfan
That's Richie's 28 days over then, so either Brady or R/R on Wednesday? Brady is back on THURSDAY at home to Rye House.
SteveLyric2
Brady is back Thursday as long as he is fully fit. Its not inconceiveable that Richie (if fit himself) could do more meetings - its a MINIMUM 28 day contract!!

Steve Shovlar
Didn't expect anything than a defeat but Durno has just allowed Howarth to get away with two massive rollers. Its hard enough to get anything out of this place without giving the home side further assistance.

Gavan
As expected Poole keeping it close due to Kennett being far better than KK and Masters rides not getting much. Poole would be winning if Hans was doing better and Worrall was fit. All you Poole fans who mocked what I said I await the apologies! Hans and Worrall scored 22 last time that is the issue this time. And Mr Shovlar said I had no knowledge lol

Gavan
wow I've seen some bad manager decisions in my time but to put Holder and Lahti in heat 15!!! I'm guessing Poole didn't want a point that was up for grabs!!!!  The loss of Worrall and Hans low score hindered Poole but as expected r/r for Masters was no good and Kennett smashed what KK would have got.  Well I said Wolves to win by 6......it was 7 !!!  Silly Middlo chucking a point away You said Poole could not lose ..they did .read the thread buddy I said Wolves by 6 loads of times. My response of 'Pooles to lose' was in stark reply to the Poole troll Shovlar who said his team would be massacred. I pointed out that they wouldn't and put it on the end.
Steve Shovlar
Just missed out on a point but would take a 7 point defeat in the playoffs. Both teams missing key riders in Masters and Worrall/Kurtz. A far far better performance tonight. The team looked determined. Can't fault the effort at all. Â Two massive rollers from Howarth, admitted by the rider himself, certainly killed our chances mid meeting but they battled on. Would definately have put Hans in heat 15 just to use his elbows. Â Thorsell. Such an enigma. Untouchable around Monmore bar the chain incident which was timed at 2.30 after the two minutes back to tapes. Â Poole fans we can be happier with that.
Mattfordfan
Wow only a 7 point defeat. We certainly have Wolverhampton beat over 2 legs in the play-offs (If we meet). wow I've seen some bad manager decisions in my time but to put Holder and Lahti in heat 15!!! Gavan
Applaud your honesty.  The injuries to Howarth and Shanes changed the match in Pooles favour.  I would still expect Wolves to win by 6 Ive said i expected Wolves to win by 6 in an earlier post but now they have lost Masters.  Lets look at the facts.  Last time Wolves lost Howarth early on. His rides were taken by lesser riders. Wolves lost the meeting This time Wolves have lost Masters. 3 of his rides will be taken by lesser riders. Masters scored 8+1 last time from 4 rides. Will that be matched by his replacements?  Poole had KK riding he scored 4 from 4 Kennett is better than KK at Monmore i would expect him to beat that. Kurtz will still be missing and Worrall riding which again is a bonus at Monmore.  So last time Poole won by 4 points. Wolves are missing a rider again Poole have a better rider than KK riding for them.  A lot will hinge on wether Starke can reproduce his score from last time.  Im stunned why Poole fans have no faith in their team.......winning at Monmore last time and now going back stronger???  If Poole lose this by 10 or more then there must be something very wrong in the pirates camp.  Ive listed the facts of the last meeting compared to this...if you have a different opinion to those facts then please tell me!  Come on then show me your knowledge!  What have i written that is false please??  Did you win last time at Monmore??? YES Do you have a stronger 1-7 this time??? YES Are Wolves missing a heat leader??? YES  So come on then if you know so much about the sport what is incorrect about any of the above!!!!!!! Nope you are correct it doesnt  Starke may not have a good night and Lindgren only got 7 from 5 you would expect more.  I think Wolves will win by 6 points ive already said that.  What i object to is being told i know nothing by Shovlar......its factual that Poole are stronger this time and Wolves will miss Masters Well according to Shovlar and others it wasnt fortunate last time!  Wolves by 6 100% agree  Ive said on the first page Wolves by 6.  But he says if i believed what i wrote i have no speedway knowledge.  He is yet to come back with the answers to my questions lol quite a few posts in the first 3 pages saying Wolves by 6. But hey Orion must be going to the same education class as Starman as you both can't read

Essentially Lahti was the difference recording a double figure score. Much better performance than recent and seemed more fight. Even dreaming now of a home win on Thursday. What do the stats say Gav?
stevebrum
Just missed out on a point but would take a 7 point defeat in the playoffs. Thought Howarth 2nd 'flyer' was just a really good gate. Although I expected both to be pulled back.Great to meet you and Shaleshifter as well. I knew you would be way out with your prediction. Â No real surprise in the result. Missing Masters was always going to make it difficult in the later stages as it proved. 5 points from RR proved the huge difference as he hasn't scored anything remotely as low as that at Monmore this year. The 8-1 gave the Pirates some hope and with Rory out of heat 12 gave them real hope of getting something out the match. Rory looked like he came down after the contact not as a result of it so no issue with the exclusion. Heat 15 seemed an odd choice of pairing for the Pirates, why no Hans who pushed Freddie hard in the 13th??? As good as ensured they would return home pointless. Â Took a while to get the track producing some close racing however we had some good scraps later on as the track started to deliver. Entertaining meeting even if not a classic. Â WOLVES FRED- the track worked against him in heat 6 as he couldn't generate enough speed to catch Kennett. His only blemish tho. 4.5/5 KYLE - looked slower than usual in his first 2 then started to deliver with a couple of flyers thrown in. 3.5/5 RORY- very up and down night. At times looked to have loads of speed, other times looked to have lost his bottle on the opening bend. Hope he is okay after his fall. 2/5 JACOB - his heat 7 blemish due to a dropped chain on his first bike was in a different class. 4.5/5 RR - scored 5 points. Huge weakener as expected. ELLIS - made great effort in heat 11 for 2 laps chasing Hans but still can't ride Monmore and is the weak reserve of the pair, something he wasn't signed for. 0.5/5 NATHAN - is definitely getting better and gaining in confidence. Scored in every race and beat his opposite number 100%. Job done. He is having to carry Ellis at the moment. 2/5 Â POOLE Andersen - seemed to play a more supporting role although stood up as a number one in heat 13. 2.5/5 RR - scored 10 points so was well covered. Holder - besides heat 12 was largely invisible. 1.5/5 Lahti - had 2 good wins and average other than that. 3 /5 Kennett - had his best meeting at Wolves for about 3 years. 3.5/5 Starke - always a good scorer at Monmore 3.5/5 Shanes - can't ride Wolves, pure and simple. 0/5 Edited August 7, 2017 by stevebrum
