Wolves Vs Poole 7/8/17

Recommended Posts

I guess it might depend on whether the temporary Wolves Manager (with Poole connections?!) can get his riders to perform down the 'straightaways' or whether Middlo can get the Poole boys to successfully negotiate the 'Karlsson corridor' again!?

Poole might not even have Holder if he is a no show on Sunday and riding in Poland.....

Jack Holder is not listed in the Torun team for Sunday and is scheduled to take part in the 4's at Peterborough.

I suspect the worry again here for Wolves will be the reserve berth, with one of Masters' rides to be filled there. Even in last week's 22-point home win over Somerset the reserves were outscored 11-4 and it might well only take an injury among the remaining top four to see the side put under the same pressure as in the previous defeat to Poole. Doubtless Middlo will be pumping up his team by reminding them of that victory.

On the other hand those four Wolves riders all scored heavily at home last week and the Pirates are not in great form at the moment. I'll go, not without some lingering anxiety, for a 6-10pt home win.

Try reading this. Google Translate will put it into English. Polish teams often change on the day.

Clearly your knowledge of Polish speedway is as limited as your understanding of the British version.

All im trying to say is that if my team had won away at another track, then went back to the same track and had a slightly stronger 1-7 i would be more than hopeful that we would win there again, especially as the home side are missing a rider who scored paid 9 in the meeting and his rides to be taken by other riders who are unlikely to score the same.

I have no idea why this is classed as trolling by the same usual Poole fan.

Im merely stating facts

Yes but we all know that SS likes to tag Poole as the underdogs and then big them up if they win! Having said that, Poole are on an extended downturn at the moment and Wolves should win

Looks like Jack is riding in Poland on Sunday, well if you believe twitter anyway!

Edit - Jack put that he is riding in Poland on twitter.

Clearly a deal has been done between Torun and Peterborough. Compensation for panthers. Might see some Peterborough fixture changes away from a Sunday.

How can Poole lose???

I would still expect Wolves to win by 6

This guy doesn't know his arse from his elbow. In one post he says, how can Poole lose, and then says he expects Wolves to win by six.

Clueless.

Masters has a home average of 8.53, not sure where you got hit and miss from.

His last few visits have been pretty poor I agree, however he is still 10 times better than KK at Monmore.

When i have seen him at Monmore, he usually has two good rides an average ride and a bad ride, that is what i mean, with his ability he should be getting double figures most weeks.

dear oh dear.

I put how can Poole lose at a dig for you saying all the time how Poole are up against it.

I expect Lindgren to do better and Starke not so.

Any chance you can confirm the answers to my questions of why i have no speedway knowledge regarding this meeting?? Or you skimming past that??

Did Poole win at Monmore last time?

Are Poole stronger this time?

Do Wolves have a heat leader missing , meaning lesser riders take 3 of the rides?

You mocked my knowledge so please answer which of the above are incorrect. Thanks in advance

so Wolves can lose Masters won't affect the result but yet Poole can lose Kurtz and they are severely weakened! Of course Wolves are weakened . 2 lower average riders plus a reserve take his rides!! Do you think his 4 rides will get more than the 9 he got last time when let me remind you , you WON!!!! You have replaced KK who got 4 with a better rider at Monmore in Kennett and you still have track specialist Worrall in there as well!!!

You won there last time

You have a stronger 1-7 this time

Wolves missing a heat leader

How can Poole lose???

what i posted

Pathetic trolling. If you actually believe the above twaddle you know nothing of the sport.

your response

As i said please tell me whats inaccurate???

I know speedway doesnt always work out the way it should but i would love to know what i have said thats so wrong

Clearly a deal was done between Peterborough and his Polish club. Doesn't affect Poole at all.

If he is banned as he rightly should be then it will affect Poole.

If a rider failed a drugs test at a Championship meeting he wouldnt carry on riding in the Premiership.

The ban would be (or should) from all British Speedway. Just because it isnt Pooles fault doesnt mean any ban shouldnt apply.

Holder misses a 4 team tournament? Panthers have 7 riders to choose from.

The regs dont allow a team to choose to promote lower average riders in place of those above when the higher averaged rider is available.

Holder is available in line with his contract. If he rides in Poland he is witholding his services.

If it is with the approval of the Peterborough promotion then the promotion should have a disrepute charge sent in their direction as well.

If this was the case Thorsell would be banned for not riding for Wolves last week.

If you read the Pboro statement it states there are 2 other meetings he could be missing to ride in Poland. He should get banned.

Totally disrespectful to British Speedway and the 2 teams they will be visiting in particular.

Disgraceful and should be made an example of (both rider and promotion)
