hammer1969 Posted August 3, 2017 Report Share Posted August 3, 2017 (edited) Just looked at updates from Swindon v Leicester match tonight and it's saying Eddie Kennett to guest for Swindon on Saturday, he might not have scored many for Rye away but he certainly knows his way around Rye House track and he will probably be aiming for a maximum after being dumped. Has to be a rider who has never reached a 4pt championship average, basically a NL rider novice. European SEC not a FIM recognised meeting so no facility for KK allowed. European SEC not a FIM recognised meeting so no facility for KK allowed. After going to speedway since 1970 another rule I didn't know about, is it me or is it speedway? If we can sneak through this one the playoffs are really on big time, It's a relatively new 4 round competition,final round 16/09 made up of mainly European riders, Kai Huckenbeck and Kenneth Bjerre are also completing in it. I'm pretty sure it's not new that you cannot get a replacement for a rider competing in a non FIM individual meeting overseas? Agreed and should be a good reserve guest, most of his scores seem to have been low this season and when Zach was first injured I looked at riders averages and I was surprised his average was so low after his showing and score in the meeting he had at Swindon last season . They argue its to protect Saturday tracks from losing their top Brits. Rye can't afford any home defeats if they have any chance of the play offs, so the change would have been pointless if Swindon win. Oh well.
