cityrebel
Weather looking dreadful tomorrow. Poole is already off. I'm not looking forward to a possible wasted journey.

If the forecast is correct (90% chance of heavy rain from late afternoon onwards) you won't be travelling
Ben91
Comparing the line ups we should be handing out a heavy beating. In reality a win is a win though. Weather has been hit or miss in Hoddesdon for a couple of weeks now, looks pretty overcast at the moment.

Dunno what I was on yesterday. I thought this was an away meeting. I'm changing my prediction to a 10-12 point home win Edited August 2, 2017 by Shads
hagonshocker
Leicester look stronger? Really? Is this mind games of the Shovlar variety??! Rye have 3 proper out and out heatleaders and one of them starts from reserve! Add Wells no mug plus Robbo and Barker that's a solid middle order ..now throw in Morley who if gates out in front could be a handful, Leicester stronger? Get out of it If its on r/r for Nilsson and Howarth for Prezdpelski (Josh G injured!!)Championship line up to rival KL!

hammer1969
Any weather updates from someone near the track please. I am about 50 minutes drive away in East London and its hammering it down here and has been for the last hour with no signs of stopping. I was looking forward to going to the meeting tonight but at the moment am not holding out much hope of it not being called off
SteveLyric2
Amazed this is still on in all honesty. The torrential rain moving through Poole and Bournemouth since midday together with similar conditions on the TV at Goodwood - exactly as forecast - surely its only a matter of time?! cityrebel
Shads, the Michael fish of hoddesdon has now moved to Berwick. Is there anyone near to the launch pad that can give us a weather update.

hammer1969
We've had a little bit of rain but nothing much so far Thanks for that, but looking at the cloud direction it's heading your way, I hope not, but I'll have to make a decision about travelling later and take a chance with the traffic round the M25 in the rush hour

flagrag
Even though this is my Lions nearest away match the forecast does not look good so am instead going up to Leicester to hopefully watch some T20 Blast Cricket

hammer1969
Going by the amount of rain we've had and are still having in East London since late morning I'm not surprised it's called off let's hope for better weather Saturday.
