Haza
Up until That Thursday he has been riding great on the whole this season imo, consistent. I think it's stuff behind the scenes now.and of course he can ride for Swindon the next night after Meltdown Thursday and score well - Just can't defend him and by the sound of it Lambert doing the same tonight miss Lynn last night but rides in Masarana tonight time to get rid of the dead wood that don't give a monkeys arse if they race for Lynn or not . Starboy118
But we thank both Michael Palm Toft and Tero Aarnio for stepping in at such short notice and their efforts definitely didn't go unnoticed."Michael was able to joint top score so fair play to him for that and Tero doesn't get many meetings at this level but he was popping out the starts at times and was always in contention."I thought Kai rode really well and Thomas Jorgensen was absolutely outstanding."Those four gave me what I'm looking for and that's what our fans deserve too."They rode their socks off, they had the right attitude all night long and they gave it everything they'd got - that's all I expect of my riders to be honest."Of course I'm disappointed with the scoreline but this was always going to be a tough one." Is he implying that someone didn't have the right attitude and didn't give everything they'd got? If that's the case, why not say so and get rid? We all know what's going to eventually happen.
waiheke1
Can't believe Stars fans are disapointed in Batch. Surely you knew what you were getting, which was a Mardy Aussie who will whinge if conditions are poor, but nonetheless was a genuine heat leader on a bargain average. He's one of the top performers in the league this season based on average vs starting average. His behaviour and odd bad display is no surprise. So what is there to complain about?

No surprises really are there?.. Like signing KK.... You pretty much know what you are going to get so, as a fan, why be surprised when they do what they do..? John Scrutton
One of the reasons for last night result was the reserves the match score minus both teams reserves was 40 39 thats what we must try to improve on but how.?? See that Somerset are to release Palm Toff with the return of Hougaard I wonder?????
Steve0
It's clear, Batchelor wants to ride for Swindon. Only as a guest - in his last season, he was the same as now - not interested - little effort. When he's on it he is a good rider but as someone said earlier he is definitely a mood rider. But we thank both Michael Palm Toft and Tero Aarnio for stepping in at such short notice and their efforts definitely didn't go unnoticed. "Michael was able to joint top score so fair play to him for that and Tero doesn't get many meetings at this level but he was popping out the starts at times and was always in contention. "I thought Kai rode really well and Thomas Jorgensen was absolutely outstanding. "Those four gave me what I'm looking for and that's what our fans deserve too. "They rode their socks off, they had the right attitude all night long and they gave it everything they'd got - that's all I expect of my riders to be honest. "Of course I'm disappointed with the scoreline but this was always going to be a tough one." Is he implying that someone didn't have the right attitude and didn't give everything they'd got? If that's the case, why not say so and get rid? We all know what's going to eventually happen. I assume Palm Toft's time at Somerset is over since Houggard is back. He would be worth considering if you were looking to jettison anyone.

racers and royals
On Saturday 5th August Leicester are down to meet Kings Lynn again- that night is the SEC 3rd round in Hallstavik Sweden and Kim Nilsson is 1st reserve. If he is fit by then and is in Sweden it`s no facility for him. Edited July 25, 2017 by racers and royals

See that Somerset are to release Palm Toff with the return of Hougaard I wonder????? Yes the reserves were the key to the loss at Leicester. As well as Batchelor's tantrum. Simon Lambert is far from fit and was not ready to return to competitive racing. At his best he can do reasonably well at reserve in the top league but he is far from that at the moment. Gemini
post deleted. Why do people do that when it's possible to just use the 'Hide' option so the post disappears? Deleting gets me wondering what on earth was said, was it very interesting and what have I missed.
pointsmeanplayoffs
Batch has ridden consistently good this season. He started the year on a 7.36 average. His latest average is 7.94. He's not the problem at Lynn. It's a personality thing, some people don't like him. As long as over the course of season, he improves his average, isn't he doing his job? What do some fans want? Hound him out like they did to Bjerre only to see him come back and score heavily for another team?

His actual end of 2016 average was 5.26.His average was weighted for the 2017 season to allow for the 50pt team starting average. So to me he has improved his average even more. Just not enough money in riding for Lynn for the likes of Holder, Batchelor and Robert Lambert. Much richer pickings elsewhere which is fair enough. But why not be up front about it? And now we know there is some serious behind the scenes stuff going on - if only we knew about that too!
