Grachan
Poole would certainly be the most likely team if he came here, as they are the only one of the ambitious teams that will be looking for a number one. The problem is, as always, that there will be the other teams looking to drag the standard down once again. This would see a possible strengthening of the league so hopefully this would be taken into account at the AGM.
foreverblue
Vaculik confirmed as our No.1. GET IN! Always wanted to race for Poole and Matt has been after him for years. Now Chris Holder please. Would be a great signing for anyone. Chris Holder wouldn't be a great signing in my opinion.
poolebolton
Would be a great signing for anyone. Chris Holder wouldn't be a great signing in my opinion. I think Vaculik might be off to Kings Lynn from what people are saying. Think Ford has a joker up his sleeve.

Agrotron
Well I have heard from someone well connected @ KL that Vaculik is indeed going to lead the Stars i the 2018 campaign. Would be a great signing for anyone. Chris Holder wouldn't be a great signing in my opinion. I agree and I wouldn't like to accommodate someone in the team that treats British Speedway as a joke and constantly bashes it.

I agree with Oliver. Vaculik will lead the Stars in 2018. He will not lead the pirates.

hyabb17
Going to be confirmed soon. It's obvious. Ned Payne tweeted yesterday that he would be shocked if Vaculik didnt race in Britain next season. Obviously in the know. Matt Ford has been after Vaculik for years. Vaculik has always wanted to ride for Poole but due to other commitments that wasnt possible until now. If Sheffield do step up then Matt Ford will easily see the competition off because he has got more money than Sheffield and he can offer a much better contract. Obvious is it, not according to twitter & certain individuals who are normally spot on with what they say. Regardless on where he does end up I hope more riders look to come over here, weakening the product is a negative way to go IMO. Baldyman
What would his average be???or does that depend on who gets him?
poolebolton
What would his average be???or does that depend on who gets him? Well judging by previous riders such as Lindback/Pawel P I would imagine it would be 7. But that could change for this season! Im sure if buster is signing him then he is coming in on a 2 point. MattK
From memory, the old rule (when we had rules) for a new GP rider was 8. Given the league is now significant;y weaker, he should come in on at least 9.

As a new rider to this country and he is a current gp rider I thought it was a 8 point average, Lindback had ridden here previously when he was re-assessed. Given the league is now significant;y weaker, he should come in on at least 9. Can't see the justification for a 9 point average, he will be a new rider, never ridden here before he can't be given anywhere near the same average as Lindgren and Doyle who have ridden here for years. You certain on this are you? Of course he isn't, he knows less than most and the majority of what he says can be taken with a large pinch of salt.

If you consider GP riders were on 8 before the 1.4 hike that took Doyle up over 13, I think it is a reasonable assessment now.
