You want to see a nice flat slightly banked bends all cambered to let the rain run off and that will be good. As Alan H said, bends one and two have been torn up and will be re laid, not so much bend two but bend one definately needs doing. And if Bald bloke is right in his assumption then it shouldnt tear up as much, although it will still be the most used part of the track. Hi Mike is glyn doing the track all year, or just to get it right?

SSL84
Having been down to Poole a few times and what I've seen on TV, it does need sorting and someone to keep it good. It can be a good race track and good to watch
poolebolton
There doing the right thing sorting out the track. Turn one is just a black hole bouncer than a trampoline. Turn two is fine just has the outside line which wasn’t as good as the years before. Turn 3 never been too bad just needs a little work. Turn 4. If you run deep like many do then it seemed to spit people out last year while in the past it has been like turn 2. Would be happy to start it turn 1 wasn’t as bad. Turn one and two have been completely taken up and will be re- laid, turn 3 is better than it used to be, turn 4 had to much excess dirt on it. you will see a big difference this season. We used Red shale mate, the problem is much of it goes over and under the fence,. Ideally you would need to give it some decent depth really you would need 50 ton of shale. then keep topping it up throughout the season. to get it out from under the fence you need free staff and people have to work, its also a dog track and the staff work on that. Thanks but we should be fine this year, it just needs to be kept topped up, and Red shale is not cheap.

PHILIPRISING
SPOKE to Middlo at Paradise Park yesterday and he confirmed significant work on the Poole track has been done. Has always been a good shape and like the improvements also undertaken at Glasgow, Ipswich and Leicester should haver a profound effect on the racing there.
